Nelong Valley permit & Gartang gali | Day 2 road trip to Nelong Valley in Gangotri National Park Ep2

Nelong Valley and Gartang Gali are situated in the Uttarkashi district of Uttrakhand. Being it's location near to India China border, the footfal for tourists are regulated. Hence an inner line permit is needed to visit Nelong Valley, that is issued by SDM Bhatwari.
No permit is required for Gartang Gali. It is a must visit place if you are visiting Gangotri Dham.

We went to Nelong Valley in November 2022, that time local administration didn't allow low-ground clearance cars due to bad terrain and the ongoing construction work. Currently, you can check with SDM office, Bhatwari. If they don't allow you can hire local bolero or similar taxi.

Gartang Gali ke liye permit nahi banwana prta... entry fee lagti hai . jo gartang Gali ke entry gate par hi le Li jati hai...
