I love your technique and results. I was so excited to begin. Not that I expected perfection on my first attempts, but I’m usually fairly good with crafts and painting. Not the case today, ruined two canvases and and wasted a lot of paint and made a mess of my kitchen. was my paint too thin? not using enough, too much. ? I’m so discouraged.

    I really love this method...
and (don't laugh) ... I would love to
do this to my Counter Tops in my

How would I SEAL this? Epoxy? or Poly?

Your paintings are elegant with so much beautiful movement! I’m a newbie, so do not understand how you get cells without using floetrol, silicone or any other solution that prevents colors from mixing?

    • @oykusaran9360
      @oykusaran9360 4 ปีที่แล้ว

same... even while using mediums/floetrol i dont get cells sometimes. i just tried to replicate this with paint and water and no other medium and it did not come out like this at all. also sometimes the background color (usually black) will swallow up all the colors. its sooo frustrating

Hello rinse I have a question the white paint that you pour on your canvas first and around your colors before you blow dry is that white semi gloss paint acrylic that you use buy by the gallon to paint your house with and mix it with water because you use so much of that white paint if this is wrong what do you use newbie Karen

Love the art. It's really beautiful. But I'm having a hard time believing an artist doesn't know the difference between teal and turquoise. They are very different. Biggest difference is one is a light color, and one is a dark color.

Can’t get it to work, tried around 15 times now and becoming quite expensive on paint/floetrol, i mix base paint and pouring paint in ratio 1 paint 3 floetrol + a bit of water, but my pouring paint always thins out and get kind a stuck in the base paint, i blow on low setting, bur have a burst setting as well, getting ready to quit trying to do this method honestly, frustrated 😣

This really is the art-style of the TH-cam generation; pour paint like a 6 year old, blindly blow it with a blow-torch. “Look mum, I made art”.

Kindly make one pour art on CinemaScope type canvas , of size 18 inches x 72 inches
    ( 18" x 72" ) like a horizontal Landscape view ...
It also create an optical illusion & make us feel the small room into a broad spacious room..

Hope you will also enjoy this type of view...
    Good luck 👍

The orange would have complimented all 3 colors Alex chose, the brown, the turquoise and the purple. I’m so disappointed to not see that painting! Good instincts Alex. All were cool colors, all complimentary. It would have been nice to see the bright pop of color, the orange, contrast the 3 colors similar in tonal value. Too bad.
Turquoise and orange are infamous for complimenting each other in Native American jewelry.
The 70’s interior design were defined by specific colors, two of which were orange & brown, all sofa’s and home appliances came in brown, orange and avocado.
Lastly, orange and purple are just gorgeous together. NBA, 🏀 The Phoenix Suns, agree.
Perhaps do another pour with Alex’s original colors replacing the veto’d orange for the last blue added. I bet you’ll both be surprised by the outcome. If for nothing else it would be a good experiment putting colors together you would never otherwise.✨
