Phenomenal singer Lyodra.. How i wish there will be a Concert of Indonesian and Filipino singers. There are a lot of excellent Indonesian singers and our very own singers from the Philippines. We both belong to the Indo-Malay race making us blood brothers and sisters.
I think, Philipine and Indonesia have the best singers among the Southeast asian countries. They got talents and skills.

Nice reaction of one of Lyodra's performance in Indonesian Idol stage. You have a way to explained your opinion that makes it so enjoyable to watch. Lyodra tried a new genre here and i would say she delivered it. In such a young age she has a lot achievement such as join Di Atas Rata-Rata 2 (talented young kid music groups made by Erwin Gutawa and Gita Gutawa), won junior international competition in Italy (Sanremo Junior in 2017), and at 16 years old, she won Indonesian Idol, the most prestigious talent search in Indonesia. It's not a small milestone. But she still got a lot of haters (because of the strict competition between the fanbase of Idols lovers) that likes to say she will not have good career in Indonesian music industry, that she will failed as an artist because she is not commercial. She faced a lot struggles because this stigma after winning Idol, but because she is so strong (a lot of support system too) and got the right attitude, she faced all that with grace and dignity. Right now, she is one of Indonesian Young Singer/Artist with promising future career ahead, not just in music industry but also in many entertaintment areas like acting (she was casted in webseries and did great with her role), tv personality (quick thinking with awesome funny humour as a guest star in lots of tv programme), hosting, and modelling. She got a whole packaged and she is still so young, 17 years old now. Will continue to support her career and watch the humble country girl flying high to much bigger stage in her life. Bravo to Lyodra! Slapped those negative peoples/haters with your hardwork and achievement!

She takes over a song that's for sure. Have you seen the Meat Loaf traveling show? It is all about theatrics, also she is playing to a specific audience that kind of thrives on the over the top performances. I find her compelling and of course beautiful. Having said that I still like the focus to be the voice, which is probably why my particular favorites are Angelina Jordan and Daneliya Tuleshova as well as Morissette, who is the best singer on the planet right now. Even though she sings big productions too her bread and butter is that personal connection that she has in smaller productions. The two young ones Angelina and Daneliya both are able to sing their hearts in a straight line to our hearts. The connection is intense and a living thing that sometimes times defies the explanation. It is something you feel in a visceral way, like when you know you have just fallen in love with someone it is that strong for me, and from what I've read others understand.
Sorry about going off topic. How old is she? Just saw it 16 yrs.old. She has a big future I'm sure and she has room for improvement. All very good things. I want to see her sing a song she doesn't feel the need to go all out on. Thanks for your reaction as always insightful and thought provoking.

She always give her all and put so much passion in her performances for sound & visual and emotional, she also good story teller, brave to take a risk even with such as young age, thats make us really waiting for every live performances of her. This performance she sang rocks type of genre which make sense if she put theatrical things in it. And one more, the quality of sound system in her country not as good as in Europe or America, but she still sound outstanding. It makes us proud, love and respect her so much. I hope she will be perform in International stage someday.
