I love the addition of the guest hosts! He seems super friendly and intelligent! I can't believe the original recipe calls for a HALF onion and a WHOLE tomato on ONE sandwich?! WHAT?! Absolute madlad!! Seems like this would make 4 sandwiches, or a giant hoagie or something! Sounds tasty tho, especially with the Plus-Ups!
Thanks for the vid. THAT was terrific looking! No one does lamb any more and I ADORE it. Thank you Garrett for helping us out. I would agree that as much as I love onion half an onion is a LOT of onion on a single sandwich. The cumin was a great choice and the harissa was a brilliant choice. Peaceful Skies.
Garrett Oliver, great episode of SoH!! As for the sandwich, absolutely delicious looking, I LOVE lamb and I'm sad that I have a hard time getting it here in my part of the US, and when I do it's super pricey! It would be worth it to do a plussed up version of this sandwich I bet it was great
This looks like something Shaggy & Scooby would build before asking the local monster if they had mustard. Love the plus ups, Going to have to try this myself once I can source some decent lamb.
Love lamb anything. Nice plus up Garrett. I make my own Harissa paste. Just Chili de Arbol simmered till soft and blended with cumin. No oil. Lasts forever in the fridge.
Cumin and lamb are just meant to be together. I love the vegetable toppings, the thick yogurt, and the harissa plus up. But I’d never eat half an onion on one sandwich! Also, I think the package would be better suited to being stuffed into a pita or wrapped in a fresh hot naan straight from the oven. Those are minor quibbles, though. But overall, that is one great sandwich, and I thank you both for the recipe.
I wonder if it was referring to the outdoor cucumbers we get in Europe. They are much smaller than English cucumbers. I would have added mint sauce or mint jelly.
Wonderful! I think the original recipe wants to put too much soggy veggies and the bread can't handle it but it looked tasty especially after the plus ups
With the yogurt, I would have considered a more Greek-ish direction for the plus-ups with oregano, garlic, and a squeeze of lemon. Or maybe a more British direction with some mint jelly and big dollop of horseradish...
I THINK I get what the original creators of the sandwich were going for... I'm thinking a deconstructed gyro with the flavor of the spread and toppings APPROACHING tzatziki sauce and using leftover lamb sort of deal... but done THIS way, those plus ups are prolly MUCH better than the original. I especially like the harissa (a little spice makes the lamb nice).
Butter not an option in gyro. Olive oil garlic lemon juice oregano optionally thyme for the lamb rub. The other stuff he put on put it closer to a shawarma or a distant relative
Day 26 of asking Barry to make the sandwich I submitted!~~ I love guest host episodes! Even if it’s a gyro without tzatziki sauce; it still looks good! Garrett nailed the delivery of “give it a go”. Love the amount of personality delivered in just a few minutes. I bet this guy would be fun to have lunch with. Thanks for the video gentlemen!
Garrett even went with a Barry shirt. True commitment.
I love Garrett Oliver. What a great episode!
Keeping up the tradition of the shirt!
Thank you Garrett Oliver, great to see you here!
Garrett, you rocked that triangle cut. Beautiful execution.
Barry, you're the least selfish Sandwich man in the game.

Aw wow he is so charming. Great looking sandwich
I am not familiar with Mr Oliver so his lack of Brooklyn/New York accent was a surprise. He sounds like he is from the mid-west.
Thank you Mr Oliver - very good !!
Wow Garret Oliver! That's awesome! He really committed to the show!
Thanks for the vid.

Always love the guests episodes!
Garrett is charisma incarnate.
Great guest! Love Brooklyn Brewery
I want it in a pita, but otherwise, yum, esp. with those plus ups! Great guest host!
Absolutely perfect form. And the Lambwich sounds pretty delicious!!

Loving the raw aggression of the thumbnail. Really takin a bite out of it!
Garrett Oliver! Amazing! That is an alarming amount of onion though
Excellent guest video!
This looks like something Shaggy & Scooby would build before asking the local monster if they had mustard.
Love the plus ups, Going to have to try this myself once I can source some decent lamb.
Lamb and yoghurt is always a winning combo, it's easy to see why it was tasty
The original and the plussed-up versions looked delicious!
Great job,Garrett and though I’m not huge into lamb, that sandwich looked fantastic
Love lamb anything. Nice plus up Garrett. I make my own Harissa paste. Just Chili de Arbol simmered till soft and blended with cumin. No oil. Lasts forever in the fridge.
We need Barry to try this sandwich! More of garrett
i audibly exhaled when he seasoned it. thank you dude.
That looks delicious!
Great guest and great sandwich!
Really enjoyed Garrett Oliver’s presentation and style, right down to the patented patterned shirt! Hope you have him on again sometime, Barry. ✊🥪
Thank you
Ya that looks real good

I love lamb any way I can get it, including ground up!
I would have plussed up with some Murray's brined feta and fresh dill.
Fresh dill atop would be my plus-up.
Yummy
That sandwich had a real Greek feel to it. Should be on a pita.
I'd suggest a plus up of mint jelly. Nothing better with lamb!
Nice
About time we got a sandwich for Pascha-Христос воскрес!
So much onion!
I wonder if it was referring to the outdoor cucumbers we get in Europe. They are much smaller than English cucumbers. I would have added mint sauce or mint jelly.
Not baaaaaaad!
Wonderful! I think the original recipe wants to put too much soggy veggies and the bread can't handle it but it looked tasty especially after the plus ups
There was enough filling for about 4 sandwiches.
THAT is lot of sandwich. looks amazing, though.
Excellent plus ups, I'd do s little lemon and dill to make a pseudo-tzatziki of the ingredients
With the yogurt, I would have considered a more Greek-ish direction for the plus-ups with oregano, garlic, and a squeeze of lemon. Or maybe a more British direction with some mint jelly and big dollop of horseradish...
fancy sandwich

Idk where I'd find lamb but I bet that's good. A little bit of Mediterranean vibe.
The original sounds like a gyro without full tzatziki sauce.
Butter not an option in gyro. Olive oil garlic lemon juice oregano optionally thyme for the lamb rub. The other stuff he put on put it closer to a shawarma or a distant relative
Is this guy on PBS? I'm getting PBS vibes.
I'll take that compliment any day. Thank you!
I'd mix the lamb with cumin and harissa at the beginning, in a grilled pitta or flatbread that would make a great sandwich
I would slice the onions a lot thinner, otherwise you have a winner.
carmelize those onions
You really need spices for lamb!

Your audio is all over the place with this video, just letting you know!
Do you agree with the interpretation of the quantities of the vegetables?
1.2😂
That sauce is libyan
das a dagwood
That’s a bland gyro on bread
Who can afford lamb anymore. I can't afford meat at all
