2 intellectual and physical leviathans, we are truly blessed that they walk among us!!!! And they are 100% correct, scrums are with us forever, nothing like them in any other sport and they were there from the very inception of the game

Would be interesting to see what England are doing to bridge the gap for props, the scrum schools etc. definitely going to need more young guys coming through. Let's hope Cole and Marler can stay in top condition for a long enough to give the new guys a chance to get settled

To all the law changers - if you want a game with de-powered scrums and more ball in play, go play league. Simples. Great game in its own right but not Union. Leave us and our front rows alone, thanks. X
Can you believe that England's pack was unable to push a Japan pack off the ball in the set piece! What is going to happen when they face the All Blacks?
Why does Borthwick separate Marlar and Cole? Together they parried and withstood the South African juggernaut; it was only after they were taken off that England's scrum took a beating.
I remember someone talking about that, yes, they are the best pairing, but any other pairing can't withstand as much, so by splitting them there is always a good prop on the front row
Not sure Bevan Rodd is really up to snuff yet. Surely English rugby have more props that can take on Cole’s and Marler’s mantle? (Saying that I can remember saying exactly the same about Joe Marler years ago but he has more than proved his worth) If I wasn’t in my 60’s with f@cked knees I would be dusting off my boots!! 😂
Yeah, so much for 'this rose means everything'. Just another vehicle for political statements and trying to score cool points. Anyway as Marler said, this too shall pass.

The pressure of being in the front row that the England scrum coach describes as reuslting "light headedness....which shows how hard you are working" is not quite accurate. Yes the physical effort required by props is immense...but the physical forces within a scrum have a deeper effect into the spine and the overall neurosystmem of props. This is a type of pressure that is not seen in any other professional sport....and not even seen by any other players in rugby other than props (and maybe the hooker also). I think its amazing that more professional front row forwards do not suffer debilitating injuries during or especially after their careers. I never thought I would say this but I think moving towards a rugby league style scrum with ball feeding and minimal engagement has to be the way forwards.
I just wanna compliment the fantastic production value of this video. If the people who filmed and edited this are reading, well done.
Who ever edited this needs a raise, and a thank you. This is almost like it’s been inspired by the office (British tv show).

Fuk they should run their own podcast/talk show post rugby 😂😂
These 2 icons need their own show
Best video yet. More of Marler & Coley. Chemistry, sincerety. Hugely appealing to the next generation 😊
Dan and Joe have a great friendship and chemistry. It’s great to see behind the scenes of them relaxing too and after the game
I really enjoyed that, quite fascinating and Dan & Joe Show keeps rolling on.

Wow! Props are the greatest human beings!
Great blokes! 🏴🌹🏴🌹🏴🌹
God we’re gonna miss these two
Just met the boys in Dunedin and they stopped for a moment to take a photo with me and my old man. Absolute gentlemen. Joe, Dan, Jamie and Ben.
Bloody legends on and off the pitch
It's nice that there's humour in the game with these two giants
I hope Marler becomes a centurion before he retires!
If he plays all the games this year, he will.
Then him and Cole can ride off into the sunset together.

It will be a sad day when those two retire from international rugby. I love these guys and their dynamic.
We need these two and Angus Ta’avao + Pasilio Tosi (props) from the All Blacks in a room together when they come to NZ 🙏

Wasn't Joe Marler mentored by the great Andy Hayden when he was starting out at Newcastle?
Two old men, contemplating life. You could give them each a fishing rod and make allow key hit British TV show...
Ewels did not look happy in the changing room after the game
Not unsurprising
Yeah you feel for him, he has had an absolute nightmare. Obviously correct decision but still poor guy
@@MrCravendishdon’t feel for him at all, blokes a fucking liability. Had his chance clearly not international level
How the hell do people become this big?!!! It’s terrifying
One of Englands weak points. At tighthead we are to reliant on aging coley (still amazing) and we are struggling to find good enough front rowers

Nah. The Colar Bear will go on forever.
Actually we have some really promising front rowers coming up.

Such a shame the Laws at junior level, right up to U18 has literally made the scrum irrelevant
