- Hey guys I did a new cover of world burn from mean girls! Enjoy...... disclaimer I didn’t know I was going to sing this song till that morning. I didn’t warm up or practice the end notes. I was not straining as much as just forgot how high it was. I sang this before I had a lesson for this song. I take lessons regularly to keep my voice clear from harm. Every performance is different and you can sing like a champ and still not always be perfect. You live learn and grow that’s what makes you a performer!

For anyone saying that she is straining her voice, look at the way she is standing and taking breaths. She seems to be using proper breath support. You can also hear that she is not straining by trying to sing from the throat too much. She only has trouble with the last few notes because, at that point, anyones' voice would be tired, and you need a crazy amount of power to push those notes. She has an incredible voice, and she is 11 YEARS OLD!!

You are so good! To everyone saying she is straining her voice she isn't. You can tell that that she is comfortable with that range. That note is even hard for people with matured voices. She is still struggling with pitch here and there, but that wasnt strained. you would see it on her face if it was.

She strains near the end in several sections. Her face also tenses up-- more indication that her vocals cords are tense.
She has a lot of potential, but she needs more vocal training before tackling a song like this. Belting can be really damaging to your voice if you repeatedly do it incorrectly. Especially when you're really young.

This is really good! I just want to make a quick suggestion, you started straining when you got to those really high notes at the end of the song so maybe instead of doing a really chesty belt, try more of a mix? Idk the terminology for it tbh but if you change your vocal placement the higher you go, it will still sound strong just not as strained. It was still really good though, I just wouldn't want you to hurt your voice as you move higher up in your range. Other than that, amazing job!

She only found out in the morning that she would be singing this so not everything was perfect and that was also the reason why she was straining her voice :)
