I am loving that lavender shade! With this yarn, I would make one of the beautiful, lacy tshirts that are really popular right now.

Y’all are a hoot! Watching and knitting is a great way for me to relax before work, dealing with the summer hordes here in Napa! Funny enough, working on the Oolong Tank for my daughter with linen/cotton, bottom up with a lace panel. As a loose knitter I totally relate to Kathleen. The giveaway yarn is so pretty, especially that orange. Kaisa Tee by This Bird Knits would be my choice with it.

I absolutely love the look of the Battenberg blanket and I wanted a project to use up my fingering scraps. But I prefer knitting to crochet, so I am making my blanket with 3 inch knitted mitered squares. I'm excited to see how it will work up!

Thanks for the knitting company! You always add to my queue :) I have my eyes on the Tolsta Tee, but really like the casual shape of the Castaway - can’t decide if the linen is part of the charm or if it would be happy in other fibers.

I’ve been eyeing the Battenberg for a while - might be time to start! That fior de seta is lovely - I’d probably go for the Tolsta and play with some lace modifications

Thank you for clarifying the whole 'international shipping' thing. I know that in America there seems to be some sort of restriction shipping to Germany? But hey, I've had to pay for my last couple of birthday and Christmas presents that were sent from my Dad in the UK... so it's a globally known chaos!
For my two cents - and you can decide whether that's USD or EUR:
    1) I love the simplicity of Kathleen's sweater. It doesn't look really fancy - or even complicated to knit - the devil is most definitely in the detail.
    2) The giveaway yarn looks like it could lend itself to something with a fade or ombre. Especially the 3 colours immediately to the right of the orange one. Also, some of the colours remind me of the shawl that Amanda was wearing.
