- When South Sudan became independent 10 years ago, its president, Salva Kiir, promised a new beginning.
The excitement was soon replaced by a civil war, fragile peace deals, and humanitarian crises.
The country is poorly developed.
Millions are still displaced from the civil war, and half the population urgently need aid.
So what's the future for the world's youngest nation?

There will be peaceful future of South Sudan, every new country fall in to civil war if not with its neighbors but later gain peace.
I believe our youth will make that a reality some day they are more tired than ever I like that they see a support system is key they want to work together as one because they see each other as one they see segregation is stupid amongst freedom and development especially hunger

No hope at all in south Sudan due to our leaders mishandling, imagine on 8th July 2021, there was a finght took place in some parts from Warrap state and indeed many people Lost their lives, wounded, few institutions e.g school, Hospital, Market, Animals treatment center and houses were looted and burnt yet non of the government intervention is being done, except Red Across Organization.
As For warrap state and lake state and also unity state and the killing from the highway even killing of our mothers and kids, is not a problem of the government only criminals who are within us destroying our image to the world, and people took everything on government shoulder even they use to kill the armies too when they want to claim down the problem, the get kill too our leaders are not they one who destroying our country but us citizens we are they one who destroying our country with our hands most of our people their hands full of blood but the government need us to be in peace, Lake State Musician Young Low said in his song the owner of the land is the one who can destroy his home and is the one who can development to his land is what happens now in warrap state and lake state and is not the government.
