Used to work in Clifton, that fish & chips is good but probably not the best in town. My local used to be the Bishopston fish bar in Bristol and that was up there.

When having curry sauce from the chippy, it has to be creamy, thick and bits of onion in it. A nice big up for my local down the road “Hangry Moose”, best burgers on the planet, FACT!
Such an average fish bar, its not even the best one on that road.
Salt and malt in Bristol is a lot better.

Great review Matt & Jess! If you ever find yourselves in Stratford upon Avon make sure you try out Clopton Catch, the very best chippy/kebab shop I've ever tried! I promise you faithfully you won't regret it!
