    Thanks Adam, really interesting. Looking forward to the beachcombing videos. I miss living near the sea and looking for interesting things, especially sea glass

    I went rivercombing yesterday and found a nice chunk of a fossilised carboniferous era plant. They were the plants that turned into coal and the river runs past an old coal mine so it probably came out with the spoil. I found some river glass too. It's a bit like sea glass but a lot more battered.

      Oh wow, I’ve just had a google on the fossil plant. Looks incredible cracking find! Are they common?
