Nice work! What marina are you at? Next time you cut off a threaded piece put the nut or fitting on the threads first! Smooth the cut and threads as good as possible first then unscrew the nut or fitting to completely straighten the threads. The threads will be perfect! Then you can use the threads without worry!
We were hauled out at Salt Creek Marina in St. Pete. Great place, and great people. I didn't show in the video that I did exactly that, and rand the nut down the thru hull before putting it in to make sure I didn't booger up any threads. I should've left that in the video.
I just had a thought,don't if youhave ever used a thread file,man it the best thing next to flying or sailing,check with a tool supplly or on line,Thead file they make the in all sizes,metric also
