  • Gwendolyn and Jon spent three months living in different areas in Panama while they were looking for their perfect paradise. Learn what they liked and did not like about the areas they visited and why they picked Bocas del Toro for their new home.
There are four things to take into consideration when looking for your perfect place to live in Panama:
Weather: Beach, mountains, or a city lifestyle
Budget: There is something for every budget
Amenities: Is there a hospital closeby? shopping? doctors? restaurants? golf?
Social Activities: some areas have a lot of social activities and some areas have none
Make a list of the things that are most important to you, then find the town that has what you are looking for in Panama.
The Complete Panama Relocation Guide will help you determine where to live that fits your criteria plus it has all the other information you need to know for a smooth move to Panama:

Public hospital are very cheap, in the other hand private hospital are a little bit pricey but way cheaper than a hospital in the USA. This couple will be fine in Bocas they seem to be very upbeat about living life to the fullest.

Private hospitals are not very expensive. I was in the emergency room last year thinking i broke my elbow. 4 hours in the emergency room and several xrays= $140.

Wow - talk about dropping a bomb with that Starlink timeline at the end! Holy moly, that just opened up a lot of options!
Also - camera and lighting were great! #ProStreamer!!

Nice couple. Seems the Internet connection in Bocas is not that great after all. Coronado (beaches) area is not for everyone. It is a more "classy" place in the country that other backpack cheaper ones, and ...it should stay that way.

They have an infrastructure the country uses American currency which is a big plus for me. My daughter name is Danielle she works at UNC she is in the echo department and I work a blue mercury next-door to North Italia Restaurant. In Rampart Commons

I have the 300,000 to buy a property but my question is , can I purchase a house/property and put some one elses name on the property along with mine ? Thank you.

For the Friendly Nations Visa, you need $200,000. The property needs to be in your name. You can add a spouse but not others.
