In this video Heimler reviews everything you need to know about AP World History Unit 4 Topic 3 (4.3) of AP World History which is all about how European states established and maintained their maritime empires from 1450-1750. Not only did they open the massive trans-Atlantic trade, but they also introduced new labor systems (chattel slavery, indentured servitude) while exploiting existing labor systems. Additionally, several Asian states resisted European intrusion.
