I have the Fender Aerodyne Jazz bass, the Duff McKagan Signature series and a Player series P-bass. This Torino red Boxer will round out my collection very nicely. I just ordered one. Great video. Thanks.
David thank you for you excellent videos. I would like to ask you wich bass do you prefer: this one, or the performer. There isn't any Performer to sell in stock here, and i can buy one Boxer. Thank you so much!
Playing almost exclusively rock I prefer the Boxer more, also because of its comfort (Jazz neck) and extreme lightness. The Performer is in my opinion a more versatile and even higher quality bass, but if you play rock and want a PJ, the Boxer is the best Fender bass you can find!
I have one same colour and it’s brilliant. I also have a 1977 Ric 4001 but I rarely take it on gigs as the Boxer is sufficient for my needs and it sounds mega. Nice playing mate.🇬🇧🏴
There is only a slight neck diving due to the gotoh tuners which are a little heavy but nothing shocking, with a good shoulder strap the bass remains well balanced.
I can't believe I have this guitar. I'm a 75yo grandmother, and I bought this at the Goodwill store.

What’s your opinion on the pick ups in this bass? Will you keep this guitar stock or swap out the pick ups eventually?
They are fantastic pickups with lots of punch, I will never trade them!

Does this balance well? Does it neck dive?
