hello srinivas your classes sre so good and very clear to understand, is there any other videos i can find using DELL EMC, other than HP. my work environment is based on whole dell emc , pls suggest me or reply any suggested link under. will be more useful .
Hello Srinivas. Very nice explanation. I had a doubt. From my understanding, the vCSA was designed only for Linux and was not compatible with Windows I am talking about 5.5, 6.0 or 6.5. so in today's video, you informed that we can download the vCSA image to install the vCenter as a VM inside the ESXi host which basically has a windows VM. So please let me know if that has changed and if the appliance can be installed on windows? I have not watched the next video so I am not sure if you had already explained that part. Your reply would be very helpful.
Hi Chetan, Thanks for your feedback. The answer to your question is vCenter server can be installed on Linux and windows. From 6.7 looks like VMware not supporting windows vCenter it would be only VCSA ( custom Linux appliance). If something has changed you need to refer official documentation for more recent changes. I hope this series helps you !
I have minimal knowledge since I am learning. I believe you can configure DRS from the cluster level and that would manage the resources within multiple hosts in a cluster. You can increase the CPU resources editing the host settings.
What could be the root password for the 6.7_appliance_template.ova file you downloaded from virtuallyghetto.com?, I mean on the ESXI cosole, there we need to enter the root password
Excellent... 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
