At the time, you needed a PCR Test to enter the Bahamas. Then you need a rapid test when you get to the hotel to check-in, and then a 2nd rapid test upon departure to return to the USA.
In the beach area by the grand Hyatt, are there umbrellas for the seating area on the beach or do you have to pay for it? If I’m leaving on a Monday when would I have to take the PCR covid test? Very informative video! Thank you.
The umbrellas are free! Yes, they do have some. As far as the PCR Test, the Bahamas does not require them any longer if you are vaccinated. The rapid test on the way out will let you fly back to the US.
Yes. You need a negative Covid PCR test within 5 days of travel to the Bahamas. You upload that test to get a travel visa through the Bahamian Government’s website. The cost for the visa is $40, however it covers insurance for Covid related issues.
Pro tip..if food prices seem ridiculous ..try the koi in the pond. Also flamino is delicious. 🤫

Hi! We were in the East Tower. The Hyatt lounge was not open at the time I was there, but they provided free breakfast from the restaurant.

@@izik6894 we submitted our Negative Covid Test at 3pm on a Tuesday and we were approved for the visa by 9pm that evening!

There is a Resort Fee, but this is disclosed when you book the room via Hyatt.
I spoke to a representative on the phone, they said $66 per room per night for the resort fee, were you also charged a $250 cleaning fee?
No- we were not charged any cleaning fee!
