UPDATE: I wanted to let you guys know that this perfume is a sweet dessert and heavier than the original however the orange citrus in this keeps it fresh and it never becomes too sweet. And I wanted to add that although this perfume is creamy, there is a powdery quality as well. I believe coming from the hazelnut. The more I wear this the deeper I fall in love😍😍😍

I just found your channel, great talk/review! I love them both but I would say the Intense really shines in winter time. I have a 50ml of the original and a 100ml of the Intense. No regrets, and it is interesting to layer them too.🥰

I was very nervous about this flanker because of the whiplash of disappointment I got from the Burberry goddess intense😅 however I was pleasantly surprised with devotion intense, and i truly do feel like it’s a great example of what a “intense” version of a perfume should be🤓 but that’s just my opinion😋
Finally a review of this! I love the original, from the review I think I might like the intense. I will wait for it to show up at Ulta so I can test it. Your fancy packaging reminded me when I got my Delina in the mail and my husband took one look at the packaging and bottle he had the same question. Luckily I could tell him that I had won it in a drawing.

I’ve been wearing D&G light blue for 15 years, with a few other perfumes sprinkled in along the way. But light blue has been my signature smell. I feel like my husband barely smells it on me anymore bc he’s so used to it, so I wanted something new. I gave him the task of getting me a new perfume for Christmas and he came home with D&G intense. Let me tell you, I was definitely unsure of it at first. Probably bc light blue is such a light crisp fragrance and devotion intense is a deeper, vanilla gourmand scent. But now I love it! It’s cold winter here right now and it just feels like such a cozy scent to me. Light blue might still remain my summer fragrance, but your video has me curious to try the OG devotion to see if I might need that for summer☀️

In my opinion, this is definitely nothing like guidance. This isn’t like a dark roasted hazelnut like I get from guidance. In devotion intense the hazelnut is there and there is a nuttiness to this but it plays so well with the orange and vanilla. It’s such a sweet gourmand. There is definitely no woodiness in the devotion intense. I almost feel like the hazelnut is there to make the vanilla and orange more rich/thick smelling but the orange also keeps this so fresh at the same time. I hope that helps🤓🤓🤓

It’s funny you mention about the ferrets because when anyone comes over they always say how stinky they are🤣🤣🤣 they have a natural musky smell to them but you would think with all the perfume my spray that they would smell a little better🤷🏻♀️🤣🤣🤣

I recently resold my OG Devotion. it turned more bitter with time (I got it in December). in the store then I didn't feel any citruses at all, just divine vanilla. when I purchaced it, I felt the citruses, but they were sweet. with time bitterness became a problem (it wasn't fake perfume). so it had to go. :(((
The original Devotion is on Jomashop now for much cheaper than when it first came out. So I’m hoping in about 6 months or so the intense version price will be discounted as well🤓🤓🤓

@@AnneBerbling I tap samples onto a tester strip in addition to skin. L&C lasts for a WEEK on the strip (obvi less on skin). You can get some idea of the performance and all the stages of the notes that way. The bottle is tiny and they raised the price from 125 to 145 last week, but it performs very well unlike a lot of niche these days.
I really don’t know how anyone else is gonna feel about this perfume. But my gut tells me that this is going to be a pretty good hit🤷🏻♀️ I love the original and I think this one is amazing as well🤓🤓🤓
The intense version is available on shop at the begginning of september. It’s most sexy than first version . The inspiration for these two is the Italian pannetone🥧🍋🌰🍊🇮🇹

Am I planning to pick this up? My answer is, I want a middle eastern version! Because I don't want to spend much, and I want longer lasting. One thing I didn't hear u mention (tho you may have said it) is there orange blossom in the new intense, or is it simply just the fruity orange?
I completely understand🤓 I’m hoping that in about six months or so they will put the intense on Jomashop like they did the original and it won’t be nearly as expensive, but it would be even cooler if a Middle Eastern brand came out with a dupe😋 For me personally I don’t pick up a floral orange blossom. I love this perfume but I find it does not project from me whatsoever. Other people can only smell it on me if they get up close and intimate. Any tips?
With mine, I have a pretty good scent bubble🤓 I usually just use a sweet vanilla body cream, and then overspray my devotion intense. And then I like to usually go back over my body with a pinch of the original devotion.
There’s definitely still lemon in the intense. Both the original and the intense have lots of citrus going on. It’s just that in the original the lemon peaks out more. And in the intense version, the orange peaks out more🤓🤓🤓
I love sweet Gourmands. I hate fresh, Balsamics or citrusy tjings. Can anyone Tell me is Devotion intense or the OG better of i only want one Devotion in my Collection ??
For me personally, it’s really hard to decide between the two. To be honest, I’m kind of leaning towards devotion intense just because it is extra extra sweet and gourmand. But I also love the original so much🤣🤣🤣

This was definitely a love at first sniff for me, but I’m also a huge fan of the original as well and this definitely has a lot of the original DNA in it🤓🤓🤓

I recently resold my OG Devotion. it turned more bitter with time (I got it in December). in the store then I didn't feel any citruses at all, just divine vanilla. when I purchaced it, I felt the citruses, but they were sweet. with time bitterness became a problem (it wasn't fake perfume). so it had to go. :(((

@@notimportant123 I got a sample of Love & Crime from LuckyScent! I kind of want it, but the vial is so small (which I knew, when I ordered) that I'm babying it and can't really get enough of a "wear" to decide!
@@AnneBerbling I tap samples onto a tester strip in addition to skin. L&C lasts for a WEEK on the strip (obvi less on skin). You can get some idea of the performance and all the stages of the notes that way. The bottle is tiny and they raised the price from 125 to 145 last week, but it performs very well unlike a lot of niche these days.

The intense version is available on shop at the begginning of september. It’s most sexy than first version . The inspiration for these two is the Italian pannetone🥧🍋🌰🍊🇮🇹

Am I planning to pick this up? My answer is, I want a middle eastern version! Because I don't want to spend much, and I want longer lasting. One thing I didn't hear u mention (tho you may have said it) is there orange blossom in the new intense, or is it simply just the fruity orange?

For me personally I don’t pick up a floral orange blossom. It’s coming across more like a sweet orange to my nose. 👃🏻
I love this perfume but I find it does not project from me whatsoever. Other people can only smell it on me if they get up close and intimate. Any tips?
With mine, I have a pretty good scent bubble🤓 I usually just use a sweet vanilla body cream, and then overspray my devotion intense. And then I like to usually go back over my body with a pinch of the original devotion.
I wished they had kept the lemon in the intense and not switched it with orange 😢
There’s definitely still lemon in the intense. Both the original and the intense have lots of citrus going on. It’s just that in the original the lemon peaks out more. And in the intense version, the orange peaks out more🤓🤓🤓
I love sweet Gourmands. I hate fresh, Balsamics or citrusy tjings. Can anyone Tell me is Devotion intense or the OG better of i only want one Devotion in my Collection ??
For me personally, it’s really hard to decide between the two. To be honest, I’m kind of leaning towards devotion intense just because it is extra extra sweet and gourmand. But I also love the original so much🤣🤣🤣
