    Looking forward for more of the old pattern videos, really just because I like watching you make stuff :)

    I like these type of videos when you have detailed walk-through tutorial. These videos help me a lot with my leather self-learning . Please do more. Thank you

    I think the 'revisit' is a great idea. You had some superior designs without narration and now that you have new leathers to try, it would be great to have an updated version. I still go back and watch the 'silent' versions. I learn a little more each video I watch. To step up your Tokonole efficiency, try a Grog Squeeze marker 10ml. Half water, half Tokonole. Sponge tip. Easily controllable with no excess to wipe off. Tim at Black Flag showed that tip. Been using it for years now.

      The little plastic 10ml vape bottles work brilliantly for applying Tokenole as well, I also use a 50/50 mix.

    Hi Eric!
    The template seems to missing the piece to which Pocket A is to be attached as per your tutorial. The template also mentions gluing it (pocket A) to the grain side of the main body. (But I am probably misunderstanding something. Thanks again for the great resource provided by your channel.

    Oh my gosh! I am so friggin excited that you are going to revisit some of your old videos. Some of those patterns are no longer available as they were on the other vendor's site and I not only want to learn how to make them, but I also want access to the patterns. So glad you're doing this!

    Eric, as always, a great learning video. Thank you. The tool handle trick is one I keep forgetting, lol. You have me convinced I should try that dye marker pen. I'm going to buy one on my next order.

    Hey brother I really appreciate your dedication and passion towards leathercraft. I have a question or rather request for you. If you have to make a Attache Style Briefcase, then what are the different linings/stiffeners you would use?

    Thanks for the great tutorial and pattern! I've watched several of your tuts now and admire your professionalism. I'm a maker myself of other textiles and have always thought about leather but never pursued it. Now, my hands won't take what is required to work with it. I enjoy watching you though. Have you ever thought about using crocodile or other natural skins and leathers, if not can you share why? Also, I have done business with BuckleGuy in the past and he has a top notch business as well, I wish you both the best in all your business adventures!

    How would it work to make your stitch line first and make the pattern around it?

    Question: what determines using a pricking iron as opposed to hole punches?

    • @chemclimber
      @chemclimber ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pricking irons and chisels separate fibres whereas hole punch removes a portion of the leather. I'm sure for wallets etc it makes no difference to strength so just go with what you like the look of! 😊

      @@chemclimber thank you!

    • @chemclimber
      @chemclimber ปีที่แล้ว

      @@donnaroberts164 no worries. My first few projects I used a 0.5 mm drill bit and drilled the holes as my rotary punch didn't make holes small enough. So that is another option!

      @chemclimber that makes a lot of sense, thank you!

    I hate tutorials without talking. It seems to be all the rage these days. With godawful music to boot. That's why I watch everything you post. Coz you both show and explain. This particular pattern I have bought and today transfered the printouts to sturdy clear binding covers. Have the leather pieces cut out too. Tomorrow I assemble. Keep up the good work namebrother.
