Best fish is all over the world! Not only in one spot! I would have been easier if they had knocked the fish out before pulling it on the boat. Most tuna fishers knock them out with a bat.
Looks to me like the negatve comments come from Americans who think if its not caught by an amreican fisherman, its endangered. Nice to see we can still fish the old fasion way. Nice day fishing guys and grats on the great catch.

FANTASTIC VIDEO!!! THIS PRECISELY the way I hand-line for cod and halibut hear on the West Coast of British Columbia Canada. Biggest fish (halibut) we landed on a hand-line was about 220lbs... CRAZY!!! I am thinking that this film is dated....?? BUT I would love to have the chance to hand-lins a few tuna with you guys... Do you still fish this way where you are at...??? Cheers Bern

el unico que voy a dicerte que los españoles son los ultimos que pueden hablar del sufrimiento del animal todo el mundo conoce que la llamada fiesta brava no es más que una técnica altamente sofisticada de tortura y todas las fiestas taurinas en toda españa asi que no tienes derecho y si hablamos de pesca piensa que los pescadores en españa no respetan las tallas minimas ni vida ......

No voy a entrar en lo más o menos ético de que matemos animales para consumirlos, sin embargo, me parece más atroz y acorde con tu comentario la pesca industrial indiscriminada que arrasa nuestro mares.
i work on a charter boat and i am not a tree huger. im also aware of these guys job and hav nothing against them. real tuna fishing isn't what it used to b. commercial fishing rapes the ocean they need to cut back slightly so i dont have to troll for 6 hours.

Esta es la pesca mas tradicional y sostenible que existe, y no estan disfrutando con la muerte del animal ni hacen ningun tipo de festejo, sencillamente siguen con la tradición y sobretodo se ganan el pan de cada dia con el sudor de su frente, que es algo que a lo mejor no conoces
