I really appreciate your videos. After watching numerous ones both before I got my RR and after I took ownership I've taken your advice and purchased a few f the items for my RR.I have the Start/Stop eliminator coming as well as I have the dash cam. I'm just starting my process but rest assured you have been a huge influence by showing the installation process and your honest reviews. Thanks for taking the time for those of us that need the information.
It means a lot to hear this kind of feedback and it keeps me making videos even though I could probably finish all of my projects 2 times faster if I didn’t fuss around with a camera. I’m excited for you to get out and rip around in your truck. These things are amazing
I LOVE your ranger raptor videos, I think you are leading the charge on RR videos in the states which has motivated me to buy my own. I am getting mine late November/early December. I am stoked 😎
Thanks so much for the comment! I remember searching for content in the RR before I bought mine and said if I got one I’d make all the videos I wish I could have seen! Glad they are helpful to people now! Congrats on the new truck being built! It’ll be here just in time for winter! I can’t wait to hit some snowy trails in a few months! Cheers
Cool, I got the ones for the ranger raptor and had them installed just because I had all these points so it cost me nothing but those look nice especially with using screws. Also little update for you. I had performance tune done not truck which was great. I then had weird rattling noises while cranking it first thing in the morning and of course that was cam phasers and got that take care of and now a short time after all this I am sitting in a parking spot with truck running and then it starts sounding weird and shuts off. I tried to start it like 8 times and it would just struggle and not turn over. I used ford roadside assistance to tow it to my dealer where I bought it and other work done today. My dealer called me and turns out need a new engine!!! - They said " 3 cylinders were not firing - under pressured etc - have to almost replace the engine - 3-5 days to get parts - 3 days or so to fix it" I am definitely disappointed in a 2024 with 6,000 miles having issues like this but at least it is under warranty.
Dude, that is crazy! Sorry to hear that about your truck. At least it’ll all be covered under warranty right? Hope they don’t mess anything up with the engine swap.
Yeah glad it is under warranty. Ford roadside took care of the tow. I am guessing I have to have them do the tune again unless the computer stays in tact and it’s just the engine that is changed.
Right on. It is certainly a bit of a pain but it has its moments. I have learned a lot from the people who comment and the videos I watch to make sure I know how to do all of the crap I try haha
@@flaberdoopin Yep same. Your videos are going to cost me lot of money. I have wish list already but first is hardwiring my radar detector + phone combo and Dashcam. I plan on doing a DIY camera battery pack vs paying the crazy $ that camera manuf asking. First annoyance I ran into already is Ranger has short stem mirror so my blendmount doesn't fit, had to order special one for ranger.
i went on a trip and after 3 days i got a warning in the app that the truck was going into low voltage mode and remote start (thru the app) was going to be disabled along with locking and unlocking through the app. I'm wondering if i should do a backup battery inline with the camera instead of using the truck battery. shouldn't. be hard to make my own.
@@flaberdoopin the way I would do is use relay. So camera is powered by car when car is on, when car power shuts off power changes to battery. My battery pack ran my camera for about 24hrs. but the have cameras with parkiing mode with use low power mode to last longer.
Those look better than the ones from Ford which is what I have. The day after I bought the truck one of the rear flaps was just barely hanging on. Not sure what I hit however at least the dealer replaced it. If it happens again I'm going with the rokblokz. Thanks for letting us have a good look at them, helps a lot.
Comments like this are the reason I take the time to make these videos! Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. These mudflaps are really well secured to the fenders. I’ll update after a few trail rides and bug puddle splashes to see if they are still holding strong
I have heard from other people that have the OEM mud flaps that the hardware isn’t as stout. And from the looks they aren’t as low which could actually be a good thing but I prefer these that stick out about an inch and hang down a bit more for a bit more protection and the material feels plenty strong with great mounting hardware

I don’t even own a RP but love the content and knowledge learned. Keep it going!!
@@eurospek right on! i watch tons of videos of vehicles i dont own and i learn a ton! thanks for watching. cheers
My OCD would make me paint the screw heads matte black.
I might have to do that. But they will be covered in mud soon enough
they should have 100% been black

Curious to see how these perform vs. the Ford flaps, been thinking about doing the same!
What’s up, Legend! I love your channel. these flaps are pretty stout so I think they will hold up but time will tell

Good stuff. Just picked up my RR on Sat. Will be doing some of your mods on mine as well. Although not sure I have your patience to record it haha

Looks good
Thanks. I bought them for the utility but the looks are not too shabby in my opinion

Wish they sold just the fronts, not really interested in paying for rears I likely won't use
Yeah, you may be able to call them. For me the rears were the more important to avoid flinging rocks at the cars behind me
what size did you buy the original or XL?
Original. And I’m glad because XL would have been too big for my taste
Have you seen the OEM ones? What do you think about quality of OEM vs those?

The original Ford match better
Yeah, for sure.
