Harvard Campus Highlight: Weld Boathouse 🚣

Weld Boathouse is home to Harvard Women's Crew crew team as well as Harvard's recreational sculling, and intramural house crew programs. The George Walker Weld family donated and built the boathouse in 1906 to encourage university-wide rowing.

Hello. Im a frenchman working in America and my mom is going to visit me in november. She's a rower and also compete in senior team. I was wondering if Harvard proposes tour of the boathouse for visitors, I'm sure she would be very happy to discover that famous place !

Excellent video and she clearly enjoys the river and rowing. It's fun to see her in a varsity letter sweater also. When i rowed the Radcliffe crew had just started up as a varsity sport and they didn't earn the sweaters yet. You'd really only see girls wearing their friend's letter sweaters at football games! Which reminds me that an old girlfriend still has one of mine....
