What an adventure! Nice to see you finally opened up this monitor. I remember seeing your video when you first found it in the woods. If anything, you could probably salvage the CRT for a spare and maybe clean up the case for a future project like you suggested with an LCD.
@@anovaprint I was happy to see you put a towel or blanket down later in the video to hopefully save you from needing to vacuum the carpet for hours LOL!
if flyback and crt itself were to be testing ok it might be worth restoring, but there is 50% chance one or all those components were tha sause of trashing the thing

I was super skeptical of any Salvage possibilities but now that I've opened it up, I think there really might be some stuff worth saving here

From the way the stickers on the inside are just GONE I bet there has been a lot of water in there
