I used to say the same thing "Chalo school le ke jaate hai", to all the children who used to beg. Long back One day near vashi station a small girl was begging with other children and I told her will you go to school and you can study. To me surprise she was so happy and excited she said yes I want to go. And she started saying to other children lets go and study in school. But I was like ohh I never expected that answer. So I bought some chocolates and gave them. But yeah some kids do like to study. My grandmother had a maid working for her in her house in Delhi who had come from Nepal due to financial crisis and had a son whom her husband had put to work in some hotel to wash vessels. One day the boy came home along with his mother to help her, and my grandmother saw him looking at newspapers so she asked if he had studied in school ever he said no and he was around 9 yrs so she asked do you want to study in school he said yes. My grandmother told his father and mother but his father was hesitant as they were hand to mouth financially no house to stay they lived under staircase of a house where his father was watchman. But my grandmother taught him and got him admitted in school he was very intelligent he got 2 double promotions in school he passed out and gave entrance exam for navy cadet after 12th science bcoz of financial pressure from his family, he got through he worked hard and got promotions, side by side my grandmother encouraged him to graduate and he completed his MSc from correspondence course of Ignou. He retired from Indian Navy after completing his short service commission after 10 years and gave exams for other govt job openings and has become a bank PO officer now and has bought his own house in Delhi. Looking at him I feel education changes a persons life completely so encourage children to join school if they are unable to due to any circumstances.
Being a vegetarian Barbeque Nation is a bad deal for me.... I've been there 3-4 times (different outlets) and I've paid 1100 per head.. And I felt I wasted that money.
My non-vegetarian friends had a blast there though. Definitely not a good deal for vegetarians there. For Non-vegetarians it's a bomb ❤️
