Hello Chantel… I’m sorry I didn’t take the time to comment on your last video and am late commenting on this one. I wanted to write more than “great video”… I love watching you interact with the various elements and admire your mind’s eye to see things go together so beautifully. I like this concept of actually creating many of the pieces and parts of a journal even before putting the journal together. You’ve really found a lovely combination of products between Marta’s books, your Etsy papers, and 49andMarket items. I LOVE 49andMarket and have many collections. I love how everything coordinates together. I usually get the 6”x8” papers because I use a lot of 6x8 albums as well as their 6x8 journal memory books. I typically also get the matching rub-on transfers, laser cut elements, ephemera, chipboard and fabric tape when available. Now that I’ve collected so many options I really want to start using it more often. This video on reusing packaging is right on target for ‘junk’ type journals. I’m not sure if I’ve mentions YCS Your Creative Studio in my comments yet. It’s a monthly subscription of curated journaling supplies. I’ve gotten the boxes since January 2022 and really enjoy creating with the contents - I use an 8”x8” journal each year and do 6 pages (three 2-page spreads) each month where I use almost exclusively only that month’s items (ink, glue, etc. from stash). Anyway… there is always some wonderful packaging that can be reused at some point but for now I still store the package contents INSIDE the actual package they came in so… I enjoy seeing the cool packaging when I’m looking at my stash LOL 😂 So glad you’ve started your summer vacation and can enjoy some down time with your family and from the sounds of it - many fun activities to enjoy as well… I’ll look forward to whatever videos you end up creating. Hi Sue! Oh my goodness, never apologize! I never ever would expect you to comment on every video. I'm just very happy to read you whenever you wish to do so. Yes, I'm thinking of getting the 6x8 next time as the size is also better suited for my crafts. I also heard about YCS and always thought it was a very fun concept. I take things out of their packaging and mix the items with others I have because of lack of space and also because I would for get I have them. I wish I had a big studio with lots of nice storage, but I have a small one with very minimum storage. But then again, others just have a crafting table in the corner or a room, and it's plenty. So.. I guess as a crafter, we always want more 🤣 crafting is such a beautiful outlet for releasing stress or gaining peace. It's a nice way to let our creativity out of our minds and onto the papers. Yes, camping season is a fun thing. Lots of pool time and laying around doing nothing. That's not something I get to do often. I intend on enjoying myself this summer for sure! Have a great day! 🌼🤗
