I love this set alot, I really enjoyed this build but like you mentioned it's good not great. The Roger Dodger set from the same theme was WAY better and looks so good. I am a big fan of Mega's stuff especially their Halo stuff. Overall it's different from Lego but still offers a great quality compared to price. Very hopefully Mega does more of these and doesn't stop at the 4 vehicles they currently offer
I have this set because I love hot wheels and love the boneshaker hope mega constructs continue with these would love to have more brick built hot wheels cars
Finally a review of this set mentioning the rather boring building techniques. I totally agree on every single point. Regarding the colour inconsistency it has to be said: Sadly most of the Lego Creator Expert models are not far away, most notably 10262, 10271, 10242 and 10298.
@@RBsGadgetReviews Indeed in 10298 there were only very few parts but those showed heavy colour variations (4×4 round quarter plates; 1x4 curved slopes). Of course Lego is still doing better than most competitors in this regard. But considering the price and Lego's self-understanding as quality leader they should do better.
Most of the parts in the set except for 3 are common in Mega's part lineup. Only the wheels, skull grille, and headlight cowlings, are unique pieces. It's a shame that despite having access to more varied pieces the build is just brick stacking. I'm a sucker for the Bone Shaker though so I'll probably get it when it goes on sale.
I found a lot of building instructions to buy for LEGO custom models, with number of pieces for each code number: so could you show me links where I can buy and order these LEGO bricks and parts? Many thanks 😎🤙))
The set itself looks good but i would prefear bone shaker from Lego than mega construx- also sad that die fast is not special. As i know u can get it easly from other 3in1 car packs etc. It would be cool if it would be in special colour just for this set
Mega construct pieces are honestly lower quality than actual knockoff Lego these days. I mean like Chinese brands whose logos look like Legos and who produce actual Lego set knockoffs.

LEGO had issues that's true, but in more recent sets like 10298 I hardly found any differences between the parts.

There are other Hot Wheels replica from MEGA Construx: Street Rodder, Rodger Dodger and Purple Passion

That's a very expensive beast, not sure if the build can justify the price
