well hes the figure head and center of attention for so much. being the vocalist for one. the characters he portrays. its a classy move that he does to let the ghouls get some attention. im brand new to them but i love them.

I saw them in Texas in 2012 opening for mastodon and opeth at the concrete street amphitheater. You missed out on an amazing show on ghost's part. The rest sadly didn't keep up the quality :(
YOu lucky bastard. Hopefully they will go there sooner or later. I saw Judas Priest there at the concrete street amph. a couple years back. Great place to see bands.
It was the first and only time I've been there. The friend that I went with said we were in the small stage area so I didn't get to see much of the place. It kind of felt like watching a band at a bar but with WAY better sound staging.
I had never even heard of them but from the first moment till the last they had my complete attention. They were already rocking an amazing stage presence back then.
The audio side of things was nearly on par with some of the Tool concerts I've been to (Maynards voice has always been far better live than Papa's). Not many bands sound so great live.
It is like Alice Cooper knocked up the band KISS! I am old, so it took me a little while to find this band. Pretty fucking awesome!!! I would love to see this concert. The theatricality he brings to the stage is just perfect.
I'll see them open for Iron Maiden this summer. Probably the only time I've been as excited for the opener as the main act (I've seen Maiden several times)

I don't care if the band members change, can they still play the same chops is all that matters. it like saying that Papas 2 is different than Papas 3! Yeah, the mask changed but the goice is still the same!! So what if the basses is a woman, she can play just as good as the first one!

Allen Fleming problem if that omega made and helped in the making of the songs in 2 albums, a lot of hits have actually pieces and rift's of MCC omega's band, for example Year zero, sprit, majesty, and omega made a lot of solos in Meliora, that's why its a guitar heavy album

To some, this song can be seen as satanic or masonic. For myself anyway, I am a christian and love these guys. Now, you may think "But Spencer, you're a Christian, dont you guys get butthurt over everything?" Some do, yes but if I lived my life like "Seeing the exorcist will make me possessed" or "Listening to a band who pokes fun at religion for art is sacreligious" is BS to me. This is art, art is subjective. Take what you will from it. I have no problems with these guys man. Would love to see them live sometime but to me, this song is about coming face to face with The Devil and giving him the finger as he strikes me down sending me to God knows where. Still, cant get over that opening rift and the drums...so damn good

I guess that doesn't really matter since the musicians that recorded the album weren't necessarily the ones touring with him anyway. Still going to be a great show. I try not to focus on the negative all the time, life is much easier that way. LOL

Only the bass player turned guitarist recorded any of the albums and that was only one! The rest did very little to absolutely nothing of the recording process i.e. air didn't record ANY keys for ANY album. Makes a mockery of the lawsuit they are part of tbh. Omega, the only co- songwriter for Ghost isn't suing at all....... funny that.
This is the definition of what rock, hard rock, meta, whatever, is about. Thanks Ghost for reminding us

I so wish I could have seen Simon and Martin (alpha and omega) play. when they were in the band. Sadly I live in a state that never gets any concerts. :( and I know, wont be able to see Magna carta cartel, or time is divine or subdivsion, repugnant, or priest or any of the other bands they have been in or produced :( cause either they are no longer together, or else they are on the other side of the globe :( gah i wish all the bands i love would come to idaho!!!!

This show did have one of the original guitar players, but now there are no original members besides Papa because...well you can Google "Ghost lawsuit"

I miss the old ghouls. They were not about trying to get all of the attention from the audience and focused on there playing . New ghouls sound terrible.

Omega was the one that I had the strongest personal connection with so I miss him being in the band, I had some great talks with him. And he played one of my favorite Ghost guitar solos, the one from Year Zero. I wasn't really watching the show and thinking about how the new Ether compares to Omega, I'll have to go back and watch my videos. Overall the band seemed fine even with all the changes. Omega gave really good interviews, too, so that's another thing I'm going to miss. But yeah, musically I think they'll be fine and there won't be a big drop off or anything.
I did just notice that the new Ether played the Year Zero solo a lot more like forcefully? (for lack of a better word) than Omega did. Omega would just kinda let the notes roll out naturally and it seemed effortless, but the new Ether seemed much more focused on hitting the same notes and it didn't come off as smoothly. But I think that will get better over time.

Not as good as previous bass player. Sounds like most of the notes are missing. Kinda that "Johnny 'one-note' playing". Sorry. I like the other bass player better. Just saying. I still think the band is cool. Just my opinion. No biggy.
