Actually, Cambodia's is supposed to improve in 2024.Yes, there is great inequality between the rich and poor. Just like here in the U.S.
In Cambodia, 58% struggle to afford food and other necessities. 70% of Cambodia's population are under 30 years of age.
Small-scale agriculture, fishing, and forestry are what people rely on to live. Cambodia sees tourism as one of the ways to make life
better for the nation.The poverty rate , as of 2023, stands at 16%. Those nuts you bought are almost the same as what I pay for
here in Colorado. Half a kilo is about USD $4.00.
