A tip from a neighbor that used to paint professionally is to mix vanilla into your paint to help with the paint fumes. Even though vanilla is very dark it does not mess with the color of the paint at all.

I once accidentally did this to someone’s car so I left my details on a piece of paper under the windscreen wiper. The lady phoned me that evening to say that she was so grateful that I had been so honest. She said not to worry about the scratches as her car already had lots of bumps and scratches on it. I started laughing out loud and told him he had no choice. Are you sure dad? Lol. When I told him the whole thing had been recorded he was shocked. I had this happen to me in a parking lot when I was inside my vehicle filling out a card for a graduation party. The person hit my car with their door and left scratches and a dent and when I informed them that they hit my car cuz they ignored it, the guy just insulted my car. I recorded them trying to leave and was going to file a report for a hit and run, but they became confrontational but finally apologized. I was running late for a graduation party and chose to brush it off, but I still regret it to this day. There is a difference between complete disregard vs an honest oops moment. Unfortunately, people will keep doing this to others without a care in the world till there is a true consequence. I don't think your over reacting.

The problem with clearance paint is sometimes people have filled it with water after using most of it. Worse is sometimes they add like milk so it has more paint consistency.
Hi Omar. He knew what he was doing. I would pin him with the consequences and not let him get away with it. Somebody ran into my vehicle and they thought they would get away with it. I called the cops and they did nothing about it. But her insurance paid for it. You are so awesome! Love your show♥️♥️ your animals are so cute♥️♥️♥️
Unfortunately it's probably best to make the report. Given that the gentleman is older, his insurance may want to push the issue of having him medically cleared to continue driving before someone gets hurt

Hi Omar, I am an Insurance agent in CA. Not sure how Florida deals with this accident but in CA his insurance sold cover the damages. And if he is found at fault which you can clearly see on the video, the deductible will be reimbursed. Send the video to your Insurance and let them deal with it.

You're talking about clearance paint you can also have those paints retented for a small fee so if the color is in the same range as what you want or could be mixed up to the color that you want you can have that done Add a reduced price too so don't always skip on those colors just because they're not what you want even if you have a particular color of mind because you could use them as a mixed base for the same colors you already wanted
I would be upset too! Our neighbor did the same thing to us but we couldn’t prove it. Even though their paint was on our car and our paint was sin their car. They dented it too. It’s frustrating.

This happened to our car on Thursday , over here in the uk. We were parked in a supermarket car park, they didn’t even have the courtesy to report to the supermarket customer services or leave a note on the windscreen of our car, makes me so mad xx

Definitely he is reliable for your damages Omar, the same thing happened to my husband but he didn't have a camera in his car, so we had no idea who damaged his car. He had to pay a lot to get to get it fixed. We are insured but we had to pay the excess amount. So do the right thing my friend Take care xo

Might be easier to just take it to a shop yourself and see if you can file a claim through them? Worth a try.

Hi Omar, I am an Insurance agent in CA. Not sure how Florida deals with this accident but in CA his insurance sold cover the damages. And if he is found at fault which you can clearly see on the video, the deductible will be reimbursed. Send the video to your Insurance and let them deal with it.

You're talking about clearance paint you can also have those paints retented for a small fee so if the color is in the same range as what you want or could be mixed up to the color that you want you can have that done Add a reduced price too so don't always skip on those colors just because they're not what you want even if you have a particular color of mind because you could use them as a mixed base for the same colors you already wanted
I would be upset too! Our neighbor did the same thing to us but we couldn’t prove it. Even though their paint was on our car and our paint was sin their car. They dented it too. It’s frustrating.

Absolutely the guy should be liable for the damage he did to your car!! Ppl wish they had cameras on their cars to catch this sorta stuff rather than be out $1000’s or have to live with it because they can’t afford to get it fixed. You need to go after the guy, that’s what insurance is for!!
This happened to our car on Thursday , over here in the uk. We were parked in a supermarket car park, they didn’t even have the courtesy to report to the supermarket customer services or leave a note on the windscreen of our car, makes me so mad xx
