Thank you for showing placement of the Jack stands. My wife has a 2017 Rogue I’m going to do shocks on and I couldn’t figure out the best spot. Always makes me twitchy going under a car on stands. Haha

Means yours was made in Korea and just calls for a different part number on the shock.

Can you also place the jack stand on the pinch weld?

Yes I use pinch welds all the time for placing jack stands.

So you don't have to remove the wheel? I've seen lots of videos that do

No you don’t have to it makes it just a little easier if you do but as you saw in my video I had no problems leaving them on.

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE that's going to save me so much time. Also you state that the USA and Japanese cars might have different shocks, but when I asked the manufacturer they said there is no difference between the 2. There is only difference in the some years, like how you mentioned with the torque specs

@@LeftHandedRightHanded that’s good to know. I just mentioned it because when I went to order these kyb shocks it said there were two different part numbers.

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE 1Aauto has a chart that shows both Japanese and American made models and they're the same, I believe the 2 different parts are left and right, but I could be wrong
