The creature demonstrates its adaptability by taking on the guise of a twisted old log. Note the motionless pose. No wonder the thing has never been captured.
"Monsters" are a common sight in the spring when the water from melting snow fills the lakes and reserviors. The ocean version called "driftwood" by the locals for its ability to disguise itself as floating logs is even dangerous and can crush people under its weight and even drown them.
I would have been impressed if the log had moved. NB next time you film a plesiosaur try and get closer and don't turn around to film the far more interesting other kayaks.
Isn’t it funny how those pesky Muckross monsters, even the young of the species, have an irritating habit of behaving just like a dead tree log when anyone points a camera at them. Of all the cheek, pah!!!
One of its "young". These ppl in the boat seem to have cooked it up and the same is evident from the tone of their voice when they said the above. Looks like "it" was sunbathing, and invited the horse to join the fun 😅😅
