I really don't think Palpatine is that bad right now. He is a strong hero, but there are strong heroes that can crush him easily and with some of the new reinforcements and vehicles, he can be taken out (i've been destroyed by the ovissian gunner a few times). In my opinion, I like that some heroes are stronger than others because I would hate it if Finn was better than papa palps, but it does require more skill and a greater challenge to take out stronger heroes with an average hero.
One of my favourite things about battlefront 1 was the variety of guns, it never felt like you had used one too much, you could continuously alternate.

CS has more variation in gameplay. In GA you just do the same straight line each time and oooooh maybe you won’t make it to the end sometimes 🤭
A quality of life improvement would also be map rotation. It’s beyond stale now. We really need a map voting system for the end of every game. This way players are more encouraged because they can pick the next area instead of it already being picked.
And when the teams are unbalanced (by # of players) add the option to the larger team to be able to switch sides. This way a game wont go 20v15 for very long
The only problem with that though is that the majority will likely pick the same few maps while the minority (who like an unpopular map) will never get to play it
Darth Vader’s force choke! Every time he does it my screen glitches out and goes all over the place and then I’m dead because he attacked me and my game lagged and I couldn’t do anything because of the force choke 😢
Agreed with that it’s a quality of life improvement that needs to happen. So many times me and my friend want to fight eachother than realize it’s not possible to determine the strongest in the force. It’s very disappointing
Private matches would allow so much, too. It would allow duels, without needing a different menu, and allow community-based competitive events (clans vs clans, 1v1 tournaments, etc that can be organized on discord, given a platform). I can see why the private match interface would be hard to implement, but it should be a top priority for Dice, in my opinion.

I always thought that this issue only happened to me and people who were suffering from lag, because I need to play with at least 150ms to be able to enter in a gamemode with players. Thankfully it's a common issue
This happens due to lag compensation. Your character on your client is not in the same position it is on the server. This results in a peeker's advantage"
I wish they would make a map like in the original Battlefront 2, where you start in your ship and have to invade the enemy's ship in a space battle and sabotage the inside on foot.
The gamemode sucks either you ride someones ass or someone rides yours like I was playing a map and I noticed I had a red marker behind me literally the whole game then only way I was able to stop it is to go in circles till they get bored
Hit Detection Sometimes I’ll be knocked to the ground as Boba and will get up and start to fly up, and just as I’m above a Lightsaber Hero’s head, they swing their Saber and some how hit me.

After taking a couple of months off and starting up again recently, I can honestly say Galactic Assault. The linear map designs and limited objectives turn every match into a hero sweat fest and it's annoying when you can't take out a group of heroes because your teammates are camping with yours. At least in Capital Supremacy heroes are easier to deal with as regular troopers.
Co-op is annoying, because the bots have literal aim bot, and I found it impossible to play during a F.O Starkiller base round. Once I became Kylo, Rey just spammed her mind trick, and I was dead within seconds
@@angxlsshowcase7065 they also shoot when rolling and the ai specialist can shoot through their personal shield. I despise that little circle they sometimes run around you while shooting you because there isnt alot you can do as a trooper because you cant turn that fast and due to how saber combat works you most of the time cant hit them with your saber, you have to dodge away or expend an ability like heroic might.
Also (I don't know if this is on purpose or not) that sometimes you get put on the enemy team on co-op, I don't mind it and I'm good enough to win games of 1v3 but I'd rather it be a feature than a bug.

@@Tom-zf6yl I'm glad you mentioned grenades, because to be honest. That's the main thing that kills me when I'm a hero. I think the classes are able to use grenades wayyy to frequently. They can literally throw a grenade, die, spawn on teammate, throw a grenade again, and repeat. 2015 grenades are more tame, but I agree heroes actually felt REALLY powerful in BF2015.
not true at all. Han especially can destroy almost any villain. Even Phasma can do well if you know how to use her. But there should be some buffs to heroes like Lando and Leia who used to be on par with other heroes but have been nerfed hard.
well it's much more challenging because blaster heroes require team support to stay alive while with saber heroes you can block, dodge, jump high and run faster while with blaster heroes you can only shoot and roll. if you see 2 or more saber heroes looking at you just start praying

Nonetheless, I have killed so many obi-wans with phasma by myself. Set up her droid as soon as you see him, shock him, then beat the hell out of him with her staff. But I am lowkey happy that in most cases obi-wan is better than her because come on, its OBI-WAN KENOBI. Phasma shouldn't be better than him. Just my opinion. Any good player can dominate with any hero, except maybe Finn. He still sucks
Anakin is honestly easy to handle. And people who first play the game do not go on 50+ killstreak with him, that’s a exaggeration. Most run in and die in 2 seconds. He can be unstoppable in a good players hands and that is rare.

He has such low block stamina, it’s easy and he mentioned the combo he has but just block it. Even if you get caught it won’t kill you unless you ass and were losing the fight anyways

What about as Rey charging a villain and she dashes for about a second then it cancels and you get stuck in an animation then Palpatine comes and chain Lightning’s you then Vader force chokes you then Grievous thrust surges you then Kylo freezes you and you somehow make it out but Grievous kills you with his lightsaber swing while in mid-air and he’s still on the ground. Happens all the time in HVV. Then on the light side Anakin pulls you then uses heroic might then Luke repulses you then force pushes you then Rey mind tricks you then you block but somehow they still hit you then you kill one then you run away to your team who are scattered when all of a sudden a soccer ball comes out of nowhere and rolling charges you to death, and repeat 35 times
They could if they would just turn the damn ai spawns down. You can't focus on air to ground combat for more than 2 seconds without getting killed super fast cause your flying slow and straight to hit infantry since there's no splash damage
I really don’t like the ragdoll mechanic. I don’t know if it’s just me, but whenever I get hit with the force ability, my screen glitches out in my character goes forward and backward end it visually looks like I’m really far away from the force user but I’m actually really close to him, and vice versa
There should be a select timer for when you select a trooper or hero/villain u get 30 seconds to select at the beginning of the game to select your class or be automatically a trooper if u didnt select within the time and then if u die u have 15 seconds to select a class or hero/villain or be a trooper again automatically if u didnt select within the time and for campers that sit still and wait for the enemy or go to the killzone to purposely lose the team they should get a warning like u if u sit still for 5 minutes u will get a 30 second warning to move and if u go to the killzone twice u will get a warning to stop doing that and u will be kicked out for doing that the 3rd time these should solve these problems

You can run from Anakin (and if he thinks your lifes not worth the running), but Palpatines dashes are so op he can run the marathon in like 3 minutes. His lightnings are also bs.
So I'm just gonna say it, there's no co-op for the Empire and rebels. I literally have no chance to play as Vader or Palps or Boba because when I have the points it's already maxed out on how many heros are out
I personally think that they should make a Co-op Starfighter Assault Mode! That could revitalize the Starfighter Modes and be a ton of fun! Also would be a god send to Level Up your ships!
I had this glitch with grievous the other day in HvV where when I’d try to use his thrust surge ability, he would do this little twitch and instead of damaging the player, he would basically teleport to them. Point is, the most annoying thing to me after a couple years of playing this game is the fact that when “fix” a problem, another game busting problem surges out. Like cmon now
I never found Anakin to be too troublesome to deal with (but I play on PC, aiming is way more accurate, so usually if a couple of people work well together it becomes easy to take him down at a distance, since he doesn't really have movement skills besides his dodge), and one thing is for sure: I s**k with him. I don't know why, I manage to get 50+ killstreaks with Luke, Han, Yoda, Grievous or Maul, but Anakin just feels off for me.
Yeah I don't think Anakin is OP anymore at all. Unless someone is insanely good (and at that point they deserve to destroy the enemy team single-handedly because if someone is that good, then they can do it with other heroes too), I don't have that much trouble.
The problem with Anakin is that once you use the middle ability, you're very limited with him until you can use the middle ability again. The right ability is mostly useless.
Same. In showdown, I hate when I’m dueling with somebody and then his teammate who was dueling with my partner comes to hit me in my back. Or when the enemy’s friend is in trouble and retreats to go help. I do love it though when the enemy is stuck to fight me and they have nowhere to hide.
How is anakin broken😂 in HvV I have never had a problem with him. I think, they should make a difference between GA, CS and HvV, HS. Cause Anakin in HvV is not OP at all. That filthy papa Palps is though

scott010 not really, he only has one unblockable and shit stamina. So with two good players the fight goes to dueling and ani struggles with that. And you can just counter pick him with palp

@@Nordrig If you get hit by Anakin's ability combo's you're going to at least lose half your health if you're really lucky, most of the times (especially in game modes like GA and even CS) you're going to lose all of your health or just die, nothing you can do. No other hero can do that
It's like mass effect but multiplayer. Mass effect one had many options and big wide open maps and fun, while the second one at the expense of fun, made the game more organized and skill oriented.
Good points, let me explain my kind of solutions: Anakin nerf: his staggering and pushing-to-ground effects should be removed so you will be able to fight back and have a chance to kill him Palpatine: makes his basic lightning attacks harder to hit, so you will actually need to aim your "crosshair" on the enemy in order to deal damage (and it could be applied to any other saber-force power attack to balance) Team sabotaging could stopped by a vote-to-kick system (just like the cheater problem), but I do think the camping in the menu and waiting for heroes is not the player's fault but the lack of solution from developers. It's been a problem since the idea of battlefront 2 was born, it wasn't even a topic the fix that but I heard from many players an ingame hero queue could be an easy way to make the gameplay more fluid, like you always can check the exact amount of current battlepoints, you get a message (but it'll mean another UI element :S) "heroes are available, hold down number 5 to choose one" or something I'm personally one of the biggest fans of infantry gameplays, I don't like playing HvV or saber heroes, but I don't complain about the lack of blasters. People usually run 2 classes in each round, which means 2 (at most 3) blasters, +1 or 2 since you usually use reinforcements, +1 or 2 if you pick heroes. In this game you don't switch only weapons but whole characters, and most of the people that complain about lack of infantry weapons play only large modes (where you play the least amount of time with basic classes) so it is very ironic or more like hypocrite. I'm rather not fine with the small variety of star cards and abilities despite I could say the same like I did regarding to the question of weapons. Private matches are the most wanted addition by me too, I heard some months ago Ben saying on reddit that they are currently unable to add them due to technical issues. I don't know if he just picked up an excuse-paper, or is it really the case. Lack of maps? lol, there are lot of maps in the game, the problem is we don't get to play on each of them due to the map rotation. This could be solved by a map choosing system in the menu, simular to bf2015 Vehicles too op, absolutely agreed. Some possible ways to balance: limit the maximum spendable vehicles (or even heroes too) each per round and phase; reduce the tanks health drastically (500-600 maybe), reduce the splash damage so people need to acutally aim at the target to hit them and make the primary weapons overheat faster; give more varieties of antivehicle stuffs to infantries.

U ain't never lie ppl say obi wan stopping u from dodging prevents u from defending urself when in reality long as u werent being jumped as a saber hero u could defend urself not blaster couldnt roll but kost villain blaster hero have a stun...not reys mind trick doesn't allow u to properly defend urself as it restricts ur ability to run ur aim meaning as long as they get to the side or behind u ur screwed and since there is no real indication when it first hits u, now I kno the screen turns but hy the time u notice damage has been dun, I have died so many times as rey hits me mid jump outta nowhere or mid dodge n next thing i kno I'm falling off some edge smh
I hate how when you try to use a blaster hero it’s super hard to compete with saber hero’s but when you play as a saber hero the blaster heroes are so annoying.
I hate that new players who play GA never get a chance to get better because they are always getting steamrolled by Vaders and Anakins who have every single star card maxed.
How about having a stormtrooper disguise as finn, and you see him blue but he has blood on his helmet! That way you could infiltrate the enemie. And it would be an epic skin!

Lore accuracy with power levels should always take a backseat to balance. If the game was lore accurate then palpatine would be able to solo the majority of the light side let alone adding the other dark side members.

I hate it when in game modes like hero’s vs villains, you’re having fun with your team and some enemies, spamming block and emoting with players from both teams and jumping around when suddenly a sweaty no-fun try hard comes out of no where and starts attacking, ruining the fun time you where just having with the some of the enemies and your team
Am I the only one who just doesn't enjoy GA? Like, I loved walker assault in BF 2015 but GA is just getting killed by snipers, granades or people who get a hero before I even got a kill
I hate the players who completely ruin a great duel. Say I am dueling Darth Vader with Luke, I its an intense, fun, and even duel, and some idiot comes in with Anakin and wrecks him, ruining my fun and also stealing my kill.
I can’t stand the hvv spawn like there should be some sort of group spawn like in all the other modes where you can spawn on players if there not in combat rather than running half way across the map just to find your team mate dead and now you have a Luke, Anikan, and Rey chasing you down as a lowly little Kylo...this hasn’t happened to me before what do you mean 😂

The only thing i don't like is how Han Solo bomb able to deactivate Grievous Unrelenting Advance abilities whenever the bomb in front of me (not on me). And yes i know it supposed to take damage, but it shouldn't deactivate my abilities.
I played with this guy on smite 3 games in a row, won the first game, lost the second, and then he started shit talking me for some reason and then he was my opponent for the third and guess what he lost 😂. Stupid toxic players are just funny to me
Very glad you touched on lack of maps and modes. No original trilogy maps in Co-op and ONLY SIX MAPS IN INSTANT ACTION (prequels only, no less) is an utter embarrassment for people who grew up on the original 2005 game.
I'm not a toxic player but most times I don't play the objective because I've got a really bad memory so I usually forget what to do even though I've been playing since the beta and the launch
I really hate that you can dodge the force, it's not like the force is something you throw at someone for them to dodge, happened to me while using Yoda and Anakin where I would use Yoda's force unleashed and Anakin's pull when the target was within range, but when I activated it, they would roll inside the area of effect and pretend that nothing happened.

I think they should completely rework Sidious and make him a lightsaber villian with some lightning abilities similar to how he was in the Original Battlefront 2.
fighting Anakins can be annoying in general because of his ability chains, at least when you fight Palpatine you have a chance to overwhelm him but Anakin players don’t even need to try half the time to get kills. I agree with everything said in this video, always feels like whenever I play Vader in HvV I always end up in a 1v4 situation cause my team is complete trash. I don’t care what dice does, port over 2015 blasters, give era-Locked Default weapons their own categories, whatever dice does it would be great to see new blasters regardless. Aside from those glaring issues, I do love this game, and when I have a solid match with little too no glitches, it is an absolute joy to experience.
The ability chain isn't solely an Anakin problem though. Even Luke can do it. It's because there's no ragdoll immunity. Once they finally add that then you won't be getting ragdolled every second and people will realise he really isn't that good of a hero.
Hero balancing is broken, and I would defo go as far as saying Anakin ability loop isn't the only one you can't escape, there's Grievous, Vader, Bossk, Chewie, Luke and even Kylo in some situations
The 4v1 is the most annoying one to me cause it happens literally often, it’s annoying when the other team just runs after you if you trying to escape to wait on your teammates they over kill just for one damn kill
Does anyone remember the hunt in BattleFront 1 I really want to see that game mode back (basically it’s where a team of infantry hunt down a hero or villain and whoever does the most damage to the hero gets to be the hero in the next round and also if the hero gets 50 kills they win the game)
HVV is my primary game mode, and I can't begin to describe to you how tired I am of the Emperoe. Chain lightning going through my blocks, electrocute doing the same thing, his outrageous dodging that has my light saber going through him as though he weren't even there, my light saber going through him even when he isn't dodging, the distance on his dodging, and how his attacks can create glitches for your character where you are almost running in place, and can't jump or even emote because of it. Need I say more?
Map Selection! An underrated feature of the previous game and one that seriously needs to be added into battlefront 2. When I play galactic assault with my buddies we get jakku, naboo, and geonosis with no other maps. I don’t think I’ve played Crait since it’s release.

My biggest issue is the inconsistencies with force powers. For example, Palpatine's force lightening and Aura both hinder a hero's movement, making it very difficult to close the distance. However, when I use Palpatine, enemy heroes will occasionally have no issue at all running through my Aura and attacking me at full speed. Another example is when a force power such as force push is used on an enemy that is blatantly not blocking yet somehow the attack will still miss them as if they were blocking.
I never see anyone talking about how broken the AI are in co-op and instant action. Instant action is basically unplayable. In co-op they have the ability to shoot while rolling, while rag dolled and while stunned which makes all the hero abilities basically useless. Kylo Ren suffers from this the most. They also don't get effected by Obi Wans mind trick, as in they can still use abilities. PLEASE DICE FIX THE AI.
The game gives the illusion that you’re playing on a massive battlefield but with the super frequent spawning on squadmates and linear maps with distinct lanes it feels like all engagements are happening in pseudo hallways. It becomes even more apparent when buildings and ships come into play and you literally are fighting in hallways and it’s a clusterfuck of entire teams not playing the objectives
I honestly hate the match making like I’ll play HvV for example my teammates are low levels while the other team is full of hero’s that are level 100 or higher that is seriously so unbelievably frustrating and makes HvV so unenjoyable like it’s extremely rare for me to actually have fun in it without punching my desk
I hate that there is still no OT CS,... Not even confirmed like sequel cs But apart from that iam really enjoying this game and iam glad that it did a great 180 comeback
3:48 That varies. First time I encountered it was on the enemy team. Dude was playing Dooku and got annoyed and just started jumping off the map in Geonosis. Became a race to see if we could even catch him. Became a meme, and my group does that every so often when we’re just like “it’s been nice knowing you, we can’t win against these guys, time to go the way of the Dooku” What classifies as trolling is relative, though. In Showdown each round you only get one life. Ledging is still a thing however, which I consider dishonorable next to a true duel (testing the skills of your skill with a saber and timing of abilities). So I make a rule with myself. Every time I ledge someone in showdown I’m obliged to jump off the map; unless under special conditions. Is that not causing my teammate an unfair disadvantage? I got the kill after all? But I hate when i get ledged (in that particular mode without respawns; HvV is different). For reference, were fighting some cowards one round. They went to this part of the map on geonosis they found where you can get ledged without any hope of surviving the kill timer. They camped there, and would try to trick us into falling for a force push. I consider that trolling.
They need more gun variety. I think the way galactic assault is laued out kind of sucks. Good guys on naboo, bad guys on naboo (EVERY match i jump into, i always start on naboo), good guys on hoth, bad guys on hoth (or vice versa). It just gets annoying. And I think being able to choose what maps you want to play on would be a bonus.
Palpatine players who cross map me with chain lightning and have 20,000 more points than anyone else at the end of the game.

Agreed with that it’s a quality of life improvement that needs to happen. So many times me and my friend want to fight eachother than realize it’s not possible to determine the strongest in the force. It’s very disappointing

Private matches would allow so much, too. It would allow duels, without needing a different menu, and allow community-based competitive events (clans vs clans, 1v1 tournaments, etc that can be organized on discord, given a platform). I can see why the private match interface would be hard to implement, but it should be a top priority for Dice, in my opinion.

Sometimes I’ll be knocked to the ground as Boba and will get up and start to fly up, and just as I’m above a Lightsaber Hero’s head, they swing their Saber and some how hit me.

After taking a couple of months off and starting up again recently, I can honestly say Galactic Assault. The linear map designs and limited objectives turn every match into a hero sweat fest and it's annoying when you can't take out a group of heroes because your teammates are camping with yours. At least in Capital Supremacy heroes are easier to deal with as regular troopers.

Co-op is annoying, because the bots have literal aim bot, and I found it impossible to play during a F.O Starkiller base round. Once I became Kylo, Rey just spammed her mind trick, and I was dead within seconds
they still shoot whilst ragdolled or stunned which should change but otherwise the difficulty is welcoming
@@angxlsshowcase7065 they also shoot when rolling and the ai specialist can shoot through their personal shield. I despise that little circle they sometimes run around you while shooting you because there isnt alot you can do as a trooper because you cant turn that fast and due to how saber combat works you most of the time cant hit them with your saber, you have to dodge away or expend an ability like heroic might.
Also (I don't know if this is on purpose or not) that sometimes you get put on the enemy team on co-op, I don't mind it and I'm good enough to win games of 1v3 but I'd rather it be a feature than a bug.

They can literally throw a grenade, die, spawn on teammate, throw a grenade again, and repeat. 2015 grenades are more tame, but I agree heroes actually felt REALLY powerful in BF2015.

not true at all. Han especially can destroy almost any villain. Even Phasma can do well if you know how to use her. But there should be some buffs to heroes like Lando and Leia who used to be on par with other heroes but have been nerfed hard.
well it's much more challenging because blaster heroes require team support to stay alive while with saber heroes you can block, dodge, jump high and run faster while with blaster heroes you can only shoot and roll. if you see 2 or more saber heroes looking at you just start praying

Nonetheless, I have killed so many obi-wans with phasma by myself. Set up her droid as soon as you see him, shock him, then beat the hell out of him with her staff. But I am lowkey happy that in most cases obi-wan is better than her because come on, its OBI-WAN KENOBI. Phasma shouldn't be better than him. Just my opinion. Any good player can dominate with any hero, except maybe Finn. He still sucks

Anakin is honestly easy to handle. And people who first play the game do not go on 50+ killstreak with him, that’s a exaggeration. Most run in and die in 2 seconds. He can be unstoppable in a good players hands and that is rare.

What about as Rey charging a villain and she dashes for about a second then it cancels and you get stuck in an animation then Palpatine comes and chain Lightning’s you then Vader force chokes you then Grievous thrust surges you then Kylo freezes you and you somehow make it out but Grievous kills you with his lightsaber swing while in mid-air and he’s still on the ground. Happens all the time in HVV. Then on the light side Anakin pulls you then uses heroic might then Luke repulses you then force pushes you then Rey mind tricks you then you block but somehow they still hit you then you kill one then you run away to your team who are scattered when all of a sudden a soccer ball comes out of nowhere and rolling charges you to death, and repeat 35 times

They could if they would just turn the damn ai spawns down. You can't focus on air to ground combat for more than 2 seconds without getting killed super fast cause your flying slow and straight to hit infantry since there's no splash damage

There should be a select timer for when you select a trooper or hero/villain u get 30 seconds to select at the beginning of the game to select your class or be automatically a trooper if u didnt select within the time and then if u die u have 15 seconds to select a class or hero/villain or be a trooper again automatically if u didnt select within the time and for campers that sit still and wait for the enemy or go to the killzone to purposely lose the team they should get a warning like u if u sit still for 5 minutes u will get a 30 second warning to move and if u go to the killzone twice u will get a warning to stop doing that and u will be kicked out for doing that the 3rd time these should solve these problems

I had this glitch with grievous the other day in HvV where when I’d try to use his thrust surge ability, he would do this little twitch and instead of damaging the player, he would basically teleport to them. Point is, the most annoying thing to me after a couple years of playing this game is the fact that when “fix” a problem, another game busting problem surges out. Like cmon now

I never found Anakin to be too troublesome to deal with (but I play on PC, aiming is way more accurate, so usually if a couple of people work well together it becomes easy to take him down at a distance, since he doesn't really have movement skills besides his dodge), and one thing is for sure: I s**k with him. I don't know why, I manage to get 50+ killstreaks with Luke, Han, Yoda, Grievous or Maul, but Anakin just feels off for me.
Yeah I don't think Anakin is OP anymore at all. Unless someone is insanely good (and at that point they deserve to destroy the enemy team single-handedly because if someone is that good, then they can do it with other heroes too), I don't have that much trouble.

It's like mass effect but multiplayer. Mass effect one had many options and big wide open maps and fun, while the second one at the expense of fun, made the game more organized and skill oriented.

Good points, let me explain my kind of solutions:
Anakin nerf: his staggering and pushing-to-ground effects should be removed so you will be able to fight back and have a chance to kill him
Palpatine: makes his basic lightning attacks harder to hit, so you will actually need to aim your "crosshair" on the enemy in order to deal damage (and it could be applied to any other saber-force power attack to balance)
Team sabotaging could stopped by a vote-to-kick system (just like the cheater problem), but I do think the camping in the menu and waiting for heroes is not the player's fault but the lack of solution from developers. It's been a problem since the idea of battlefront 2 was born, it wasn't even a topic the fix that but I heard from many players an ingame hero queue could be an easy way to make the gameplay more fluid, like you always can check the exact amount of current battlepoints, you get a message (but it'll mean another UI element :S) "heroes are available, hold down number 5 to choose one" or something
I'm personally one of the biggest fans of infantry gameplays, I don't like playing HvV or saber heroes, but I don't complain about the lack of blasters. People usually run 2 classes in each round, which means 2 (at most 3) blasters, +1 or 2 since you usually use reinforcements, +1 or 2 if you pick heroes. In this game you don't switch only weapons but whole characters, and most of the people that complain about lack of infantry weapons play only large modes (where you play the least amount of time with basic classes) so it is very ironic or more like hypocrite. I'm rather not fine with the small variety of star cards and abilities despite I could say the same like I did regarding to the question of weapons.
Private matches are the most wanted addition by me too, I heard some months ago Ben saying on reddit that they are currently unable to add them due to technical issues. I don't know if he just picked up an excuse-paper, or is it really the case.
Lack of maps? lol, there are lot of maps in the game, the problem is we don't get to play on each of them due to the map rotation. This could be solved by a map choosing system in the menu, simular to bf2015
Vehicles too op, absolutely agreed. Some possible ways to balance: limit the maximum spendable vehicles (or even heroes too) each per round and phase; reduce the tanks health drastically (500-600 maybe), reduce the splash damage so people need to acutally aim at the target to hit them and make the primary weapons overheat faster; give more varieties of antivehicle stuffs to infantries.

U ain't never lie ppl say obi wan stopping u from dodging prevents u from defending urself when in reality long as u werent being jumped as a saber hero u could defend urself not blaster couldnt roll but kost villain blaster hero have a stun...not reys mind trick doesn't allow u to properly defend urself as it restricts ur ability to run ur aim meaning as long as they get to the side or behind u ur screwed and since there is no real indication when it first hits u, now I kno the screen turns but hy the time u notice damage has been dun, I have died so many times as rey hits me mid jump outta nowhere or mid dodge n next thing i kno I'm falling off some edge smh

Very glad you touched on lack of maps and modes. No original trilogy maps in Co-op and ONLY SIX MAPS IN INSTANT ACTION (prequels only, no less) is an utter embarrassment for people who grew up on the original 2005 game.

I really hate that you can dodge the force, it's not like the force is something you throw at someone for them to dodge, happened to me while using Yoda and Anakin where I would use Yoda's force unleashed and Anakin's pull when the target was within range, but when I activated it, they would roll inside the area of effect and pretend that nothing happened.
I really don't understand why i suck at galactic assault but when im on capital supremacy, blast, starfighter assault or other things like that im not under the first five i don't understand why i suck at galactic assault
I just hate palpatine and the fact that there’s no private matches.
I think they should completely rework Sidious and make him a lightsaber villian with some lightning abilities similar to how he was in the Original Battlefront 2.

fighting Anakins can be annoying in general because of his ability chains, at least when you fight Palpatine you have a chance to overwhelm him but Anakin players don’t even need to try half the time to get kills.
I agree with everything said in this video, always feels like whenever I play Vader in HvV I always end up in a 1v4 situation cause my team is complete trash.
I don’t care what dice does, port over 2015 blasters, give era-Locked Default weapons their own categories, whatever dice does it would be great to see new blasters regardless.
Aside from those glaring issues, I do love this game, and when I have a solid match with little too no glitches, it is an absolute joy to experience.
The ability chain isn't solely an Anakin problem though. Even Luke can do it. It's because there's no ragdoll immunity. Once they finally add that then you won't be getting ragdolled every second and people will realise he really isn't that good of a hero.
Hero balancing is broken, and I would defo go as far as saying Anakin ability loop isn't the only one you can't escape, there's Grievous, Vader, Bossk, Chewie, Luke and even Kylo in some situations
The 4v1 is the most annoying one to me cause it happens literally often, it’s annoying when the other team just runs after you if you trying to escape to wait on your teammates they over kill just for one damn kill

Does anyone remember the hunt in BattleFront 1 I really want to see that game mode back (basically it’s where a team of infantry hunt down a hero or villain and whoever does the most damage to the hero gets to be the hero in the next round and also if the hero gets 50 kills they win the game)
HVV is my primary game mode, and I can't begin to describe to you how tired I am of the Emperoe. Chain lightning going through my blocks, electrocute doing the same thing, his outrageous dodging that has my light saber going through him as though he weren't even there, my light saber going through him even when he isn't dodging, the distance on his dodging, and how his attacks can create glitches for your character where you are almost running in place, and can't jump or even emote because of it.

Map Selection! An underrated feature of the previous game and one that seriously needs to be added into battlefront 2. When I play galactic assault with my buddies we get jakku, naboo, and geonosis with no other maps. I don’t think I’ve played Crait since it’s release.

With the best dodge in the game, a stun ability, and a damage aura to cover his ass, he is anything but vulnerable.

@@8luntman incorrect. because he can't kill me from halfway across the map(i know force push has some good distance but that needs to recharge) and his stupid dark aura and chain lightning. he can wipe out any hero in seconds and its not fucking fare
My biggest issue is the inconsistencies with force powers. For example, Palpatine's force lightening and Aura both hinder a hero's movement, making it very difficult to close the distance. However, when I use Palpatine, enemy heroes will occasionally have no issue at all running through my Aura and attacking me at full speed. Another example is when a force power such as force push is used on an enemy that is blatantly not blocking yet somehow the attack will still miss them as if they were blocking.
I never see anyone talking about how broken the AI are in co-op and instant action. Instant action is basically unplayable. In co-op they have the ability to shoot while rolling, while rag dolled and while stunned which makes all the hero abilities basically useless. Kylo Ren suffers from this the most. They also don't get effected by Obi Wans mind trick, as in they can still use abilities.
PLEASE DICE FIX THE AI.
The game gives the illusion that you’re playing on a massive battlefield but with the super frequent spawning on squadmates and linear maps with distinct lanes it feels like all engagements are happening in pseudo hallways. It becomes even more apparent when buildings and ships come into play and you literally are fighting in hallways and it’s a clusterfuck of entire teams not playing the objectives
I honestly hate the match making like I’ll play HvV for example my teammates are low levels while the other team is full of hero’s that are level 100 or higher that is seriously so unbelievably frustrating and makes HvV so unenjoyable like it’s extremely rare for me to actually have fun in it without punching my desk
It is so annoying when your team in hero v villains refuse to stick with you and go in one by one getting killed instantly

That varies. First time I encountered it was on the enemy team. Dude was playing Dooku and got annoyed and just started jumping off the map in Geonosis. Became a race to see if we could even catch him. Became a meme, and my group does that every so often when we’re just like “it’s been nice knowing you, we can’t win against these guys, time to go the way of the Dooku”
What classifies as trolling is relative, though. In Showdown each round you only get one life. Ledging is still a thing however, which I consider dishonorable next to a true duel (testing the skills of your skill with a saber and timing of abilities). So I make a rule with myself. Every time I ledge someone in showdown I’m obliged to jump off the map; unless under special conditions. Is that not causing my teammate an unfair disadvantage? I got the kill after all? But I hate when i get ledged (in that particular mode without respawns; HvV is different). For reference, were fighting some cowards one round. They went to this part of the map on geonosis they found where you can get ledged without any hope of surviving the kill timer. They camped there, and would try to trick us into falling for a force push. I consider that trolling.

They need more gun variety. I think the way galactic assault is laued out kind of sucks. Good guys on naboo, bad guys on naboo (EVERY match i jump into, i always start on naboo), good guys on hoth, bad guys on hoth (or vice versa). It just gets annoying. And I think being able to choose what maps you want to play on would be a bonus.
The only problem I really have with Palpatine is his constant jumping
