Warfaze has been like a blessing for all of us Bangladeshi. It gave us the most iconic guitar player of the country - Ibrahim Ahmed Kamal aka Guitarman. It also gave us Russel Ali (who only featured in first two albums and gave the iconic intro (Guitar & Keys) of Aubak Bhalobasha original record. Also he is one of the iconic international guitar player who played in Limpbizkit & other notable international artists). It also gave us the best rock vocals of the country - Sunjoy! He left the band after the album Aushamajik back in late 90s but he created he dynasty with his amazing vocal works. The band also gave us Mizan (featured in the albums Alo, Poth Chola, Shotto) who is also another amazing talent of the industry. This band also gave us the most iconic & brilliant composer of the country - Babna Karim (Composer & writter of most of the iconic songs of Warfaze). Also the band featured other renowned musicians of the industry Bassbaba Sumon (Founder, vocalist & Bassist of Aurthohin), Iqbal Asif Jewel (Guitarist of Miles). Also apart from Kamal Bhai, two other mentionable guitar players whom played in the band are Oni Hassan (Currently a solo musician based in China but also played as lead guitiarist of Vibe). He played in most of the tracks of Poth chola & Shotto. also composed two of the popular tracks - Purnota & Na. Another one is who currently playing in the band is Samir Hafiz. He is regarded as one of the finest guitarist of the country (Check out his solo tracks at TH-cam and he also plays in Powersurge, Avoidrafa, Shrapnel Method & Severe Dementia), So Warfaze in a form is like a hall of fame of musicians of Bangladesh Band Music industry.
Watched the original lineup in BAMBA concert in 1992! We grew up with them! Original vocal Sunjoy just being few months older than me.. still gives me goosebumps
Oh My ! You have made my morning ! and the day as well ! This IS THE Rock ANTHEM of our days from the 90's when we witnessed the starting of the real heavy metal revolution of Bangla/ bengali lanuage/ lyrics. Yes Haris, you are right that this was also the starting of heavy metal journey of the subcontinent. This song always grips me with sheer nostalgia as we were Dhaka Univerity students that time and the band members of Warfaze, Rockstrata, In Dhaka & Aces were our batch mates/ friends and/ or friend's peers. We used to know them pretty well, especially Kamal (pronunciation Komol) , Babna & Tipu of Warfaze, Mainul, Imran, Shoaib, Mahbub of Rock Strata, Joy, Mashuk, Tushar, Gorky of In Dhaka. Prior to 1990 all of them were doing covers of english classic heavy metal bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Scorpions and also Thrash & Speed metal bands like Metallica, Helloween etc. The turning point for Bangla heavy metal was the free + open air concert (2nd) arranged by BAMBA (Bangladesh Musical Band Association) at the Dhaka University registrar building ground on April 1992. This time, the senior musicians in management control of BAMBA, asked these young metal bloods to join the concert but with Bangla compositions ! All 3 of the major heavy metal bands (Aces was not there and pity ! we missed the performance of the phenomenal guitatist Fuad Rubbi ! ) hurriedly came up with 4-5 bangla compositions. The day came in 26th April morning and Warfaze started around before noon may be. 4 songs including this one changed the whole scenario and left the versity students in a more than awe-striken situation ! We the metal lovers were gone completely nuts, didn't attend any classes that day. Many high-school kids gathered on to the versity ground that morning to witness the free concert, probably their 1st open air concert in life. Altogether, that day left a permanent imprint on many kids' mind and we have seen the advent of many quality guitarists later on; many of whom you have been listinening to nowadays. After this concert, most of these guys left Dhaka for Minnessota USA for higher studies purpose but before that they all worked for their debut metal album which came out later on. Warfaze's album was a massive hit and they came to back to BD on December 3rd week and had couple of sold-out concerts. I had an opportunity to have jamming with Komol & Tushar (vocals + Bassist of In Dhaka) at a friend's Christamas party just couple of days before the 1st come back concert at Dhaka. Man ! Komol was flying that time with the the new Carvin guitars ! Some of our old time friends with whom we used to have music adda (chito- chat) and jamming are no more in this world and playing this song, the original version with Sunjoy's vocal, was a must in the addas. At this turning of middle age (53), this song always reminds me of those golden days of our university life. Thanks a lot my brothers ! You have made my day ! I was long awaiting for you two to react to this number !
Yes, we had always been blessed with amazing bands in Bangladesh making amazing songs in Bangla, specially in the 90's. Warfaze is special even among them. It's been a blessing to have been able to grow up with their music since the beginning. I personally consider this as one of the biggest blessings of my life that out of all the places in the world, I was there in Bangladesh when Warfaze started their journey and I had their music as a part of my life all along ever since. What a gift! Since I saw you guys make a review of 'Purnota', I was wondering if you would check out their initial songs, which broke the scene that time, like this one from the first album. The beauty of Warfaze is, all their songs are unique and yet, they all have the Warfaze idenity. This is a great version sung by Mizan, but I wished you'd listen to the version by Sunjoy. It was so amazing to have that standard of music created in Bangla in Bangladesh that time in the early 90's. Warfaze always made sure their music had a domestic audience. The ones who listened to them then, are still listening to them now, even commenting on the reaction videos of their songs. 😊 #WarfazeForever
Our friend Ibrahim Ahmad Komol the guitar maestro. Russel the ex-keyboardist also joined with him in guitar for this new version remastered for the 25th anniversary. Just couple of months after this silver jubilee concert, we lost our dearest friend Islam Tomohar (ex-Nova) an awesome blues-rock guitarist who joined us in Hotel Sheraton arena to watch the concert. That was his last concert attendance with us !
Bangladeshi rock is as old as the genre itself. We had an instrumental rock band back in 1964 called windy side of care. They released instrumentals which you can find on TH-cam. Then there was famous rock bands like souls and feedback who emerged in the scene in the early '70s.
@Haris, Just before 6:26 when that groovy solo started and you have started noticing, that's the signature punch from Ibrahim Ahmed Komol the Guitarman ! Now think about us guitar-freaks standing 50 feets from Komol and watching him playing this licks for the 1st time at that BAMBA live concert 29th April 1992 !! Our whole day got spent analyzing that solo and tapping in another song on that day. We went completely nuts ! Who cares about attending a Financial Management class !
The vocalist is Mizan. You have seen him in one of coke studio bangla's songs. His high notes are unmatchable. He is very versatile This is the re-recorded version(2008) with Mizan on vocals, Kamal and Oni Hasan on guitars, Roger on bass, Shams on keys and Tipu on drums. Sanjay and Babna were also unmatchable. See more on warefaze purnota obak Valobasha And as a metalhead, I would like to introduce you to ARTCELL a progressive meta band, and Aurthohin a versatile band.
The version you reacted was not of 1991, it was of 2009. 1991 version was sung by Sunjoy. Please listen to that as well as ekti cheley, oshamajik, andho jibon, jibon dhara, money porey.
Damn!!! Damn!! You guys reviewed this song. This song was literally a medicine during my 12th grade days. So many memories with this song. Thank you so much for making me relive that memories again ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is the remastered one done in 2008 in the 'Pothchola' Album. The vocal is Mizan here. The drummer is the same person, the lead guitarist was both Kamal and Oni...The original song came in 1991 with Sunjoy as vocal...
Orginal song released on cassette. Later 2006 Warfaze re-released their some old song with their new generation vocal Mizan. "Obak valobasha" another song u should listen.
That was the rendition version from their Album "Pothchola" (Walking Paths) with the legendary Mighty Mizan on the Vocal, Guitar Maestro Kamal, Legendary Guitarist Oni Hasan, Creative Keyboardist Shams with the bassist Roger and one man army behind is the Legendary Drummer Tipu.
@Haris & @Hammad I would say, during the late 80's we (the school & college students mainly) were into heavy metal music and were religiouly listening to the British, German and American classic heavy metal bands from the 70's & 80's. However, until that 2nd BAMBA open air concert nobody in Bangladesh could think about writing & composing a heavy metal tune in Bangla language. What Warfaze & In Dhaka did were quite a shock for the audience at the University ground that day but what Rock Strata did was more than shocking ! They came up with the first ever Thrash & speed metal numbers in Bangla inspired by Helloween & Metallica as they used to cover Metallica & Helloween songs in their concerts. They were the first rock/ metal in BD who used a double-bass drum in thier concert. Rock Strata's album was as such difficult to fathom for young guys that time. Eventually their music was picked up during the early 2000 onwards by the new generation metal lovers.
At that time a privileged community used to create these out of their interest, not thinking about commercial purpose. They used to produce these for a specific amount of people around them their friends and family and people of their taste and certainly the zone was very small. But somehow people liked these band musics in Bangladesh and these songs used to be played in the tea stalls in 90's in the cassette players of every mahalla and young people's computer .
As you are slowly getting into the metal scene you should start listening to Cryptic Fate. Start with their "Danob" album, which is IMO the most technically overwhelming metal album in Bangladesh thus far. You haven't heard anything like that album from any band from the sub continent I promise. I took me almost 10 years to understand the masterclass of the tracks (I was a pretty amateur listen when the album got released and couldn't appreciate it enough until I became enough educated about music).
we are blessed as a Bangladeshi tobhave such a widevrange of band vocalist ,,,they are amazing,,,they are unique,,they are mind blowing....thanks for reacting on warfaze.....
bros this song was originally sung by Sunjoy and you were on point when you said that he was Mizan who was singing ... Warfaze had incredible vocals over the years
Once i used to listen wWarfaze song almost everyday... In 2023, the same feelings i have for this brand.... Oh! Vocal Mizan Bhai & Gaiter Oni Hassan Bhai ... Will be missed forever❤️❤️❤️ Love Warfaze ♥️♥️❤️
Mizan Rahman is the guy who played as vocal in this track. The same guy who sung the Prarthona on Coke Studio Bangla. Although Mizan has left the band.
It was first sung by #Sunjoy vai of Warfaze...one of the amazing and powerful vocal of Bangladesh...#Warfaze is the extraordinary powerful Band of Bangladesh which is full of Legendary Talents..either you talk about vocal or Guitarist or keyboardist or drummer...Hats Off to all of them..our Pride❤️❤️❤️🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩 plz hear ekti chele, oshamajik highly recommended of #Warfaze❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@No-one- Most likely because you're not into hard rock and heavy metal vocals. I get this reaction from Bangladeshi fans. Otherwise, I always see that foreigners like Mizan more than anyone else.
@@nahiyanalamgir7056 lol I’been an Iron Maiden (my all time fav band), deep purple, Def Leppard fan since late 80’s. That’s y bought Rockstrata/Warfaze when they came out in early 90’s. Also a big Dream Theater fan. So your assumption is wrong lol
It’s that why I don’t find Mizan that metal for me. He’s versatile and has a special cracking feature in his voice but high scale wise Sunjoy/Polash. I still go back to listening to Old Obak Bhalobasha or Warfaze first album instead of pothchola remake.

Hey Hammad and Haris, I am from Bangladesh and I think you guys are amazing. I have watchrd almost every videos of yours. You guys deserves more and keep up the amizing work you guys are doing. Best Wishes and take love from a brother from other side...❤❤❤
Regarding the musical instruments and gazzets you are talking about, all I can say that, during the late 80's and early 90's we haven't seen that much of high quality guitars and effect processors. Komol and others used to play Aria Pro guitars and few had Fender Strats Japanese/ Mexican versions. Very basic level distortions & other effects were available in the market. Same tihngs about PA systems and Amps. Recording studios were also poorly equipped with 16-track mastering console and low quality recording trasfering machines. This was particularly applicable for Sargam studio where all of these guys had to do their recordings. Sargam did a pretty bad job in trasfering the recording on to the audio cassettes. This recording is of much later date with better gears and sound processors.
Original song's vocal is Sanjay. I recommend to see Sanjay in Warfaze's 30 years or 25 years celebration concerts. U can understand the emotions running within generations of Bangla music lovers. Kudos
That’s 2009 version sung by Mizan Wish he continued his journey with warfaze He is my favourite vocalist But Sunjay was the king The 1998 era The warfaze was At his prestine stage I still listen to those 90s warfaze songs 90s version of those songs hits differently
You have already reacted the vocalist on coke studio bangla it was Mizan .. He was the lead vocalist of Warfaze that time he sang this song in 2008 after the original version had published in 1991 ..
as far as papularity concern it was massive during 1991...I was a university student that time I remember WF started a cyclone for matel music in Bangladesh...
No guys. The songs which made Warfaze popular and one of OG metal/hard rock bands in Bangladesh are - Ekti Chele, Obak Valobasha, Dhupchaya, Oshamajik, Nei Proyojon, Jokhon, Nirbashon, Dhusor Manchitro and also Boshe Achi. All these songs are from their very first 3 albums released; Warfaze(1991), Obak Valobasha(1994), Oshamajik(1998). All these were sung in the albums by Sanjay back then who were the first lead vocalist of the band. Later, two more albums accordingly, on 2000 named "Light(Alo)" & "Pothchala" on 2009.
You guys reated on the song named "Prarthona", the male vocal of Prarthona is the vocal of this song - Boshe Achi. Top High scale vocal of Bangladesh. ❤️ Please give reaction on " Maharaz ", " Bristy", "Shadikar" by Warfaze. ❤️ Super reaction ❤️
This is the original one [th-cam.com/video/goUuJcO3scg/w-d-xo.html] released in 1991. The one you guys reviewed is the remastered one released in 2008/09. Warfaze was well ahead of time in their composition and delivery in 90's. We used to listen to their songs in parallel with Metallica, Guns n Roses, and others. They also have outstanding melodious tracks like OBAK BHALOBASHA (th-cam.com/video/PGgcOK7MgoM/w-d-xo.html).
It is the remake version... The original version was also good if you consider the time period it was released... But, thank God they decided to remake it and they did everything they couldn't do due to the technological limitations of that time... Previously it was a great song, then after the remake it became a song for the ages..
International popularity of Bangladeshi metal bandsFor example, Warfaze was ranked 5th in "Best Hard Rock Bands" on TheTopTens. Sometimes they pushed even further and ranked 4th, surpassing classic hard rock bands like Aerosmith, Queen, Bon Jovi and Van Halen.
This superb band burst in the scene in the '90s emerging from the inheritance of the then already decades old tradition of band music in Bangladesh which started back in the '60s (when Bangladesh was known as East Bengal/East Pakistan) --- as is already pointed out by Jahid Hasan in his comment (see below). In this context, you may find it interesting to know of an interview* of the Daily Star (Dhaka) with two of these pioneers of the '60s --- Rafique Mazhar Islam aka Sajju, the rhythm guitarist, and the manager Rafi Omar --- of the celebrated band the ''Windy Side of Care''. Incidentally, you would also get here a hint of how they once procured Pearl drums and Fender guitars at USD 720 (so you may yourself decide now if they were Rupee rich or not). They once went to Karachi to take out a 45 RPM EMI record, and were invited for a performance and interview at the Karachi TV. (So, perhaps in the archives of both institutions one might find them preserved.) They mention of other contemporary bands of Bangladesh, like, the Lightning (from Chittagong), Rambling Stones+, Insex Dui, etc. They also mention of another contemporary band called the Bugs that I suspect could be a pioneer of band music in Pakistan (then West Pakistan). +They were contemporaries of the Rolling Stones, Cliff Richards, Beatles, Tom Jones, etc. and would do them in their jam sessions. * archive.thedailystar.net/2003/10/11/d31011140194.htm
Orginal Was Sung by sunjoy and it was way more popular then ,there was no youtube and social media that time but its way more popular than rerecorded version.
The Boshe Achi track you guys reviewed was a remake by the new Warfaze lineup with Mizan as vocals in 2008. The original track had a different sound which sounded more like Hard Rock than Metal.
Also, you guys should check out more from Cryptic Fate. They have an abundance of quality heavy metal songs. But initially, my recommendation would be "Akromon" (definitely the music video).
Please listen to all of Warfaze's original albums. Some of their music are from another world. They made those music when there were very few listeners listened to those type of music.
Try to listen the original track then you will understand the level and standard of the Warfaze. Arguably they are one of the big and finest hard rock and metal band not only subcontinent but also beyond. They are pride of Bangladesh and still representing Bangladesh. The talents they possess is phenomenal and something beyond. The main guitarist Komol Bhai is one the best guitarist in the world so does another guitar talent Russell Ali. They brought massive changes in this subcontinent and still continuing. Cheers
This IS Mizan! This is the re-recorded version with Mizan on vocals, Kamal and Oni Hasan on guitars, Roger on bass, Shams on keys and Tipu on drums.
We have listened to Sunjoy live as well. I like both the singers but Sunjoy's high notes are way better than Mizan's.

Though I like Mizan’s voice but I don’t get the same feeling from him when he sings songs from first 2 albums
This is Mizan by the way. This is the re-recorded version. The original one was sung by Sonjoy

One of my Favorite songs. ❤
Warfaze's all songs are my favorite.
This song gives me goosebumps.
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩
That's why we Bangladeshi music lover so much love both of you bro
Because of your high level accurate openeon.
Aww🥺 warfaze ❤️
Kudos
That’s 2009 version sung by Mizan
Wish he continued his journey with warfaze He is my favourite vocalist
But Sunjay was the king The 1998 era The warfaze was At his prestine stage
I still listen to those 90s warfaze songs 90s version of those songs hits differently
Warfaz band is the Pink Floyd of Bangladesh..!
love u gys for reaction this song🥰😍🤩
Absolutely fabulous !
Song of young generation!song of dream ,Kamal.....one of the legend guitarists in this subcontinent.
You have already reacted the vocalist on coke studio bangla it was Mizan .. He was the lead vocalist of Warfaze that time he sang this song in 2008 after the original version had published in 1991 ..
God bless, you guys finally found Warfaze
In this version of this song lead vocal is Mijan. Sunjoy was the singer of the 1st version of this song.
as far as papularity concern it was massive during 1991...I was a university student that time I remember WF started a cyclone for matel music in Bangladesh...
Please give reaction on " Maharaz ",
" Bristy", "Shadikar" by Warfaze. ❤️
Super reaction ❤️
I am just happy that you guys reacted on this song, this is my most favorite song from Warfaze.
love you so much bro....thanks for this reaction ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is the original one [th-cam.com/video/goUuJcO3scg/w-d-xo.html] released in 1991. The one you guys reviewed is the remastered one released in 2008/09. Warfaze was well ahead of time in their composition and delivery in 90's. We used to listen to their songs in parallel with Metallica, Guns n Roses, and others. They also have outstanding melodious tracks like OBAK BHALOBASHA (th-cam.com/video/PGgcOK7MgoM/w-d-xo.html).
Thanks for reviewing this masterpiece.. I recommended you in one of your videos
It is the remake version...
The original version was also good if you consider the time period it was released...
But, thank God they decided to remake it and they did everything they couldn't do due to the technological limitations of that time...
Previously it was a great song, then after the remake it became a song for the ages..
Magical mizan. Great stuff from Warfaze
Every time I feel like making an uprising conversation with my evil inside...getting rid of it and pleasing self-thirst.
Awsome passionate reaction
Ibrahim Ahmed kamal played all the guitar solos!!our Pride!

Thank you guys.. basically i love to watch your pureness and passion about music..
ভালোবাসা 🧡
The vocal of the song you played is Mizan Rahman. The 1991 song vocal was Sunjoy.
Most awaited reaction
Thanks for the masterpiece song reaction
Hey Guys, take a look at Na by Warfaze.
Thinking About Boshe Achi Eka was good? Na by Warfaze is a beast. I mean it. It might Blew your mind 😉
This one something else
❤️
This is our proud, our Mizan Bhai, as vocal.
Also, you guys should check out more from Cryptic Fate. They have an abundance of quality heavy metal songs. But initially, my recommendation would be "Akromon" (definitely the music video).
boshe achi is something else when u enjoy it at live performance
Proud to be a Josephite
Best reaction
Warfaze is our emotion 🎸🤘
Mizan bhai was the ex lead vocal of warfaze, from the male vocal parthona ( coke studio bangla).

This is a Legendary song
by the way, great video guys
Please listen to all of Warfaze's original albums. Some of their music are from another world. They made those music when there were very few listeners listened to those type of music.
This song is remastered. It’s true. Original Singer was Sanjay and this one sang by Mizan.
I love the old version
Love you 🖤
Mizan bhai is the vocal who also happen to be the vocal of Coke Studio song “Allah Megh de pani de “
Its call eargasm
Hail wafaze
90s vibe ❤
This is magical voice of Mizan..
The vocalist is Mizan from prarthona of this particular version of this song
Try to listen the original track then you will understand the level and standard of the Warfaze. Arguably they are one of the big and finest hard rock and metal band not only subcontinent but also beyond. They are pride of Bangladesh and still representing Bangladesh. The talents they possess is phenomenal and something beyond. The main guitarist Komol Bhai is one the best guitarist in the world so does another guitar talent Russell Ali. They brought massive changes in this subcontinent and still continuing. Cheers
Let's try projonmo from warfaze
Aah Warfaze ❤❤❤
World number 4 band warfaze 🥶
