    I love this recipe. Both adults and kids ate it up. I prefer a nonstick skillet to carbon steel for cooking.

    Tilapia is always available here in the Philippines, Its good also stuffed with tomatoes onions and garlic just salt and pepper. Good partner with Spicy Soy sauce with Calamansi and red chili 🌶️ 🤤🤤🤤

    I made this with thawed frozen filets. It was easy, delicious, and my first foray with tilapia. The compound butter sauce is great as the fish itself doesn't have a ton of flavor or texture. I'll be making more tilapia, for sure.

    Delicious, just finished having this for dinner with a side of 5 minute couscous and some garlic roasted zucchini and lots of lemon wedges and extra miso butter on the side which was incredible!!! We have some fresh corn we might cook up to use this butter on because it's phenomenal, so complex I can't believe I made this myself, well Miso helps haha/

    I love making this recipe. Had never used miso butter before but it's so good. Only thing is my tilapia never comes out as perfectly golden brown

      Probably need to really pat them very dry, and crank up that heat and make sure you have enough oil

    Great recipe, but I found the compound butter to be a little salty if you use it generously, so I would cut the kudos to 1 tbsp. I used swai and it worked great but didn't brown as nicely (maybe I was a little timid with the heat).

    Tilapia from China is raised downstream from where pig manure runs into the water. The fish love eating it and makes the fish extra flavorful.

      It's hard to find farm-raised tilapia. I love the taste, but I no longer eat it. I do eat flounder, halibut, and haddock, I'm sure it would work fine with other fish as well.

      My second oldest brother is, or was, the manager of the water treatment facility for the greater Anchorage area.

    Terrible...Tilapia has no nutritional value....not a fish to eat or bother cooking. Garbage fish lika Bas & Swai. Again Farm raised which is sickening. I am surprised at this recipe since I love America's Test Kitchen. I use their recipies all the time.

      In today’s office world, if you reverse the roles and a man made a comment like that (compliment etc.) and the woman didn’t really found that man attractive she will go straight to HR (Human Ressources) and could file a complaint for micro-agression saying this made her feel uncomfortable. This could lead to this man loosing his job.
      But if she found the man attractive, she’ll accept the attention and validation with a smile.
      We call that the hypocrisy of feminism.
      But I will try this nice Tilapia with Chive-Lemon Miso Butter, it is looking good.
