I watched this in VOD yesterday and it was one of those games where you can see how much you still love and enjoy Hunt:Showdown and it just made me so happy to watch you play. This was truly poetic
I really don't care if the gameplay itself can be slow or stale as long as the streamer makes it fun with chat interactions, VoIP interactions and such, and Mike is great at that.
That was a hilarious finish and I don't wanna take anything away from you, extremely wp. Fact is their strategy is an incredibly bad idea every single time. Shotgun camping the lair makes sense for like 10 minutes to give time to the various other teams and rats to run into and kill each other, and only if you have the discipline not to use up your precious seconds of darksight boost. Waiting until the very end just guarantees you have to run to the closest extraction which makes it easy for solo snipers to set up to catch you, given that they also have to leave that way and they know exactly which path you have to take to get there in time. It's SO easy to run from snipers through all the brush, trees, hills, and compounds on the map when you have multiple viable extraction routes. A sniper can't camp too close to the compound because it's incredibly easy to get pushed or roamed by the third when they have access to darksight boost and you don't. A sniper has to keep up with you and be positioned such that they have a decent angle on you for the short time you spend crossing an area where they have direct LoS to you, but be far enough away that you can't just turn on them and eviscerate them with shotguns/pistols, or get ambushed by the unmarked third guy. Lair camping is just trolling and hoping your opponents value their time more than you do, so I am incredibly happy that this situation happened to you who literally do this for a living and on top of that you killed them all and got out with the token + hype YT clip.
an absolute top-tier play. and the pure artistry of the match ending in 44:59, while also being the exact length of the video. 7000 hours = a mastery in how to Hunt. GG!

Твои обещания никому не нужны.", which can be translated as "What are you promising there, son? Nobody needs your promises.". I assume they didn't quite heard your weather question.
If I had been in there Mike would have scared the shit out of me. I would think, I'm playing some psycho. And that shows for me what a total badass Mike is in Hunt. The ending made the hole match so truly epic, that you can pretty much call it art. Thanks for this incredible masterpiece of a Video.

Alright, alright... I watched it all... The full loooong video. The rotations, the reflections, the interactions in russian. It took a lot of time. But, it, was, WORTH IT! I think the devs need to implement a time system where each person who is eliminated or extracted from the map decreases the timer by a few minutes down to a threshold of say 15 or something because I also used to get into these long drawn out waiting games and it really does not make for an enjoyable experience to sit around for 45 minutes just to get lucky headshotted or blown up by a random frag.

They could have run anytime. Bait you out, turn around. The one without the token could have sneaked up. But they desided to run at the last moment, right into the hands of death with no other option than to die. They lived through all the stages of hunt taketh. Agression, denial, fear, despair and finally ... suicide.
I am a firm believer in "I don't owe you a gun fight" and "don't be on defense if you don't have the ball". What Mike is doing, I would generally tell my team to run for extraction in an opposite direction. He is rotating so much we might be able to slip far enough away into new cover before he notices in Dark Sight. Then he is chasing us and that is always harder to snipe because he has to be aggressive and in the open with clear shots. Like he said, the Cain could then wait to ambush him while token guys beeline as fast as they can for the extract. OR the Cain plays body block for the hunter with the smallest bars. It's a dangerous play against a lebel snipers but most other guns, 9 times of 10, we make it to extraction because most snipers find an angle and sit there and wait for movement and don't check DS constantly like Mike.
Most of the time when I try and be a sneaky sniper, some choad peeks out the window for .13 seconds, somehow knows exactly where I am in the weeds, and one tap headshots me from 120m with a Lemat.

I kind of misted the 3x back flip while you throwing the frag bomb but it was a great ending anyway. It's how you called, pushing that would let you lose the game. Hunt is not so much about loadouts more about the decisions you going to make in the game.
Smart playing. Ever since the ammo changes just rotate every shot, take your time, rat even harder than before. If things start to get spicy and you find yourself expending ammo too quickly solo find a new objective or team to pester, or just extract.
The winning play would just be to burn their 10 seconds, run away 100m and then wait until they think you left. Because with primal in the game they don't need dark sight, they know you're sitting right there next to them. And then the mind games is trying to guess do they run for extract because they assume you extracted or do they run for a different extract because they assume you're camping that extraction and not actually leaving.

For me, no token is worth that much of waiting. I would honestly just do sucide rush. If we die, we die.
