The crack epidemic severely ravished black communities. It has destroyed so many black families. She looks good though and I hope she continues down the path of healthiness. I also hope he gets some therapy and takes Judge Mathis advice and go back and finish school and get a trade.

I'm sorry but if you spent your child's youth addicted to drugs, you should be able to forgive a few thousand dollars.

Get your GED then go to community college. After that, transfer and get your bachelors.

See what happens when you keep talking? She had already won and he wasn’t going to get anything, but when she kept talking so then Judge Mathis said oh OK

Judge Mathis was wrong and I didn't think this was a joking matter. That is serious and traumatic for kids to be left home alone no food no supervision in one of the most dangerous areas. He shouldn't have to pay anything. He didn't get the right foundation he needed to be successful in life.

He has faced trauma growing up, and now has ptsd. The mom has to live the rest of her life making up for what she did. He also need therapy. Trust me I know.

I grew up on West Warren and Livernois. I’m grateful to have had both parents and neither was drug addicted. As a matter of fact they are still together.

i dont think he owes her anything, what about the 18yrs of neglect and she only quit because of herself not her children.

So, this woman took 25 years to ruin her relationship with her children and expects them to just get over it on her time, no it's on their time!

I applaud that sister!! When you have gotten clean from a drug addiction you do have to try to make amends to the people you have wronged. But you have to be careful as to how far you allow it to go because some people yes even family will try to take advantage of you.
