Yes... English speakers do not seem to know "Mega" is, by definition, bellow "Ultimate". And they switched the two. "Mega" is Wargreymon level and "Ultimate" is Metalgreymon level... it's sad...

so thats why i was confused about the stages, i dont like the japanese ones at all.
For the real OG first Digimon, Tyrannomon weirdly didn't have as much love as other newer Digimon. It took decade for it to got RustTyrannomon and weirdly there's no main character kid that have Tyrannomon as partner (Edit: In anime. I'm aware of in video games since video games you can evolve to whatever you like). And weirdly mostly portrayed as bad even it's Data attribute.
I always have been a big fan of Tyrannomon's line. And you know what in spite of it taking a decade, I'm glad we got RustTyrannomon as the first official mega for the line. I hope we someday get MasterTyrannomon's evolution though as well as an eventual Rookie stage for the Tyrannosaur.

I'm glad Tyrannomon got some attention in Survive, I consider that the Canon line for Takuma's Agumon.
The true ending is the canon ending and the true ending can only be done with the moral route and the moral route is greymon I'm afraid.

I agree. The harmony route fits Takuma fairly well as he cares deeply about the safety of his friends. This would influence Agumon to take on the role of a massive dinosaur protecting his territory and all that's in it.

@@jayttabarcea yeah. Elecmon is the one they intend for his rookie for now but i strongly dislike that since elecmon is basically the eevee of digimon. His design is a mishmash of body parts and colors from all his evolutions and he evolves to a ton of stuff. He has unimon and leomons ears, veggiemon and kokatorimons tail, tyrannomons color and stripes, dolphmons stripes and little feather-like bits. He even works as a garurumon rookie. He works so well as a garurumon rookie that I suspect that elecmon might have been a scrapped idea for yamatos partner rookie kind of like how metalgreymon blue and machinedramon was the originally intended to be agumons perfect and ultimate levels before the vaccine metalgreymon and wargreymon were made for the anime. They also seem to use him in ways related to yamato as well. He became buds with patamon and takeru in adventure, evolved to blackgarurumon in savers etc.
I really wish at least tyrannomon got its own rookie though. I feel elecmon fits best with leomon but digimon like unimon, tyrannomon etc should get something new. Mastertyrannomon needs a banchotyrannomon or wartyrannomon to evolve into as well. At least we have rustyrannomon. Hes pretty cool. I would love to see him fight a machinedramon in a future anime.

One of my children, I adore Tyrannomon. I had a super powerful one in the original Digimon World name Rex and he was a champion mowing down everyone.
I think Machinedramon should be a honorary mention considering that parts of MetalTyrannomon are used to create it but otherwise an amazing video to a really underrated digimon! Hope the black coloration of Dark & MasterTyrannomon gets used in an alternative Ultimate & Mega stage!
What I remember VERY WELL about him is that it takes 3 whole sirloins to make him satisfied.

I agree, which is part of the reason why I don't understand why people so frequently complain about him not having a unique rookie form. It kind of makes me think that people forget that in Digimon, there are numerous different paths a Digimon can take when it digivolves rather than only having 1 or 2 select choices they can become

@@matthewkuscienko4616 At least in my personal thing I prefered that tyranomon had a unique child because they used greymon so much for agumon and only him that I felt that tyranomon was left aside, but nowadays they use tyranomon for agumon more frequently so I don't mind anymore

Based on the artwork from one of the earliest Digivice toys, it does seem like Tyrannomon was supposed to be Agumon's original Champion form.
I used to dislike Tyrannomon in Digimon World since I'd always get him when I was trying for something else, but I grew quite fond of him outside of that game. He's now especially close to my heart since my first deck of the new Digimon card game is based around him and his evolutions.
SAME, i used to hate him coz i keep getting him in world,but over the years i got to appreciate him and get hyped when he appears in game and the shows :>
If you think that’s bad, imagine me wanting Tyrannomon only to get Centaurmon… It’s not bad, but getting Centaurmon frequently annoyed me.
Tyrannomon needs it's own individual rookie/child form since it's original rookie/child form Agumon is now associated with the Greymon line.

While RustTyranomon is great I do wish we got a progression of MasterTyranomon as a counterpart, just so we can see the two different paths Tyranomon takes, either cyborg enhancement or mastering it's natural body.
Same. On Wikimon, it shows concept art for a yellow/gold version of RustTyranomon, maybe they could make that MasterTyranomon’s final form? If they want to be lazy, I guess.
I wonder if we'll ever get a Wargreymon counterpart for the line one day. 🤔
@@minicle426 I'd love to see an AncientGreymon version of Tyranomon simply because to me, Tyranomon is basically the "first" Digimon.
IMO, MasterTyranomon feels like he'd be Perfect to become a Bancho at some point.
It seems like its a combination of both MetalTyranomon and MasterTyranomon, MetalTyranomon is what happens when they "upgrade" themselves and MasterTyranomon is when it gets stronger with age. This ends up with a full cyborg that's older then dirt.

I bet that thanks to the spikes on his back, Tyrannomon was partially inspired by Godzilla.
Darktyrannomon was actually, with a couple other digimons from the same era inspired by godzilla villains (cyclomon, raremon, metaltyrannomon, deltamon, devidramon, tuskmon and flymon )
Likewise, Greymon was most likely inspired by Gomora from Ultraman.

I wanted in World 1 Greymon and choiced agumon for this. But, i obtained Tyrannomon.
ngl I hated him in DW1 since it was so hard NOT to get him as a partner, but outside of that game he's grown on me quite a bit. Side note, my Agumon ended up turning into Tuskmon in Survive.

Growing up I got to make he's one of the best supporting antagonists in the series.

That's because the OG digivice was meant to be a godzilla v pet! Little known fact, the og digimon were redesigns of pixleated kijus and even tryranomon himself is a redesign of Godzilla, which would have been the kiju v pet poster boy
Tyrannomon will always have a place in my heart. Back when i was a dumb kid playing the very first digimon world game on PS1 i always got Numamon since, as i stated was a dumb kid didnt know how to care for pets. Then one magical time, i managed to do something right and boom i had an awesome big red dinosaur instead of the green slime pile

Tyrannomon was always my favorite digimon in the series. Might be because i grew up when dinosaurs were popular with kids.
One of my favorite Digimon, all his Digivolutions and variants are very beautiful. Furthermore, it is incredible to think that, in addition to Agumon and Blackagumon, Tyrannomon can Digivolve from Chuumon (and I actually like the hypothetical Digivolutive line Chuumon-Tyrannomon-MetalTyrannomon-RustTyrannomon).
Dinorexmon to me seems like the go to mega for ultimate tyranomon, a more natural counterpart to rust tyranomon and they both have a X

Master-Tyrannomon deserves its own Mega form. On Wikimon, they have concept art for Rust-Tyrannomon where it’s yellow/gold, maybe they could make it Master-Tyrannomon’s digivolution and call it “Luster-Tyrannomon” or something.
When I was a kid I always thought Tyrannomon was Agumon's purest evolution.

I'm still bummed down by the fact Master tyrannomon don't have a proper mega/ultimate yet, I have made a fan made called Bancho Tyrannomon to fill the gap, he is a tank that uses blue falmes of his breath and on his claws to fight
Metal Tyrannomon is his Ultimate and Rust Tyrannomon is his Mega

@@supertimmyboy3262 Yes but what we're saying is we'd love to see a mega that evolves from MasterTyrannomon naturally. RustTyrannomon is already established as MetalTyrannomon's mega and Gaioumon is a member of the Greymon family.

Digimon need to stop fanboying Greymon too much. Tyrannomon has a lot of potential for new designs and evolutions, but being left out. We have too many Greymon evolutions and variations. The new game should focus on Tyrannomon for Takuma and a really good chance to introduce a new Ultimate (Mega) Evolution for Tyrannomon. But oh boy, they did screwed up

You forgot that Dinorexmon is also the Tyrannomon species that evolves from MasterTyrannomon. He even has the same scar on the chest.

In season 1 of the dub Tyranomon has the same exact roar as Rexy from Jurassic park. I don't mean the same sound effect. It is literally the same roar. If you listen carefully you can hear a squeak at the end of the roar. That squeak is from Lex as the trex attacks her and Tim's car. The digimon dubbers literally used a sound clip from Jurassic park. You will hear it MetalGreymon's debut episode.
Despite the different names like Tyrannomon, DarkTyrannomon & MetalTyrannomon, they’re named after the mighty extinct earth Dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex. “Before the 2 separate species were updated in 2022.”

I have noticed , the fire does harm only to property and small digimon , fire is an element which would burn everything, everyone who would come directly in its path, then why are digimon not burnt when they receive an onslaught of an attack by fire ?

man i was hoping him and tuskmon get proper respect in survive but nope they are just filler evolution meanwhile greymon gets full line line again.
I get the impression that the three lines are meant to follow a theme.
Tyrannomon retains organic traits all the way.
Tuskmon steadily becomes more robotic.
Meanwhile Greymon walks the line in between, finishing up organic but covered in armour.
RustTyrannomon would probably have been seen as too similiar to Machinedramon as a result, but I quite like what they went with.
Besides, Greymon/Omegamon is clearly just stuck in for publicity given its line is the franchises equivalent to Pikachu.🤷♂️
@@minicle426 I mean, as shown in the video, DinoRexmon already fills the role of a more organic Tyrannomon-Mega quite well, honestly, imo it's a member of the Tyrannomon-species in all but name, sharing a lot of their traits, so all they needed to do was replace Triceramon with MasterTyrannomon and that at least would've been a solid full Tyrannomon line.

I would love for the Tyranomon line to get a warrior like mega akin to WarGreymon. Maybe since they tend to bigger and more ferocious than Greymon, a buffer physique than WarGreymon would fit!
