There's a goods train full of iron-ore waiting on the loop line (exactly like on the accident day), Coro is moving at full speed on the main line - again exactly like on the accident day. On the accident day, the track was incorrectly connected to loop line instead of the main line (even though signal was green on the main line), and the train crashed into the rear of the goods train. In this case, thankfully, no such error. Just looking at the speed of Coromandel @20:40 and imagining that it collided with the goods train at that (or even greater) speed, one can imagine how horrible the accident must have been.
