My theory was that the movie was actually only going to be like 10 minutes. It would do all the normal setup of a film's cast, and then when the bad shit started happening, the cast would collectively just say "Nope!", turn and leave, roll credits. Just a complete fakeout to the movie going public that they were getting a full length film.

I know it’s crazy how he’s basically ripping of M Night Shyamalan’s career trajectory for a bit. That’s dedication!
it’s 1st film: universally praised as a groundbreaking genre piece and one of the best films to come out in years.
2nd film: mixed reception but still shows a lot of flair and bold storytelling choices
3rd film: another genre film about aliens that most critics enjoy now but I have a feeling won’t age so well.
4th film: about a colony on Mars gas lighting thier kids about the past of Earth but it’s actually present day?
      When will the sketch end?

The alien real and possible and yet completely elderitch and lovecraftian and incomprehensible. the fact his goal is to make it as real as possible shows, and i think he accomplishes it every time. his movies are some of the only ones that terrify me anymore. also i love these characters the most out of all his films. I felt like i related to every one of them in one way or another. And Daniel did amazing as OJ. I feel like Ive literally met someone like OJ. *Us* is probably my favorite horror movie of the past decade. He's one of the best directors working today. Also, I know he said he doesn't want to make Marvel movies, but I'm sure he'll make an AMAZING Blade movie.

I much preferred Get out, but Us had a great concept. Also, I don't think hes gonna be makin a Marvel movie anytime soon, hes just too big of a director right now. Marvel usually goes for directors that are lesser known or have been out of the spotlight for a while.

I think the way Jordan peeled makes movies is so new and he presents ideas in a way that movies have never done. Just everything combined the way he presents his ideas is really cool and new and no one does it like him. He could make anything and the way it’s gonna be shown your gonna be so involved questioning everything.
