My grandmother had a 3522-6 model that I inherited from her because it still worked great and I had it till early 2019. The commutator ended up cracking in half completely grenading the motor.
Great machine and video! And just so you know, you can get standard HEPA filters for these that aren't Febreze scented. Perhaps your Walmart was out of them when you were there. Also, your machine was manufactured on the 330th day of 2004; Bissell uses a YYDDD format in their serial numbers to denote the DOM.
Besides the pure air style machines and the bagged lift off, this is probably one of the last Bissell’s that I even care for. I’m not that huge of a Bissell fan, especially when it comes to their proheats. But I will say this actually might be more powerful than what Eureka had with their bravo/victory machines. Obviously the windtunnels would kill this Bissell, but I’m trying to be fair with this. I remember these being very popular in the 2000s and 2010s. I never really was interested in them, but seeing these original bagged power forces compared to the last version and now shows how bad Bissell has become. It’s kind of funny that they now have this model now for their commercial line up. I don’t see the point in doing that when they made the price even higher without giving you a hepa bag or even a head light, but I’ve heard the build quality is much better.
It seems in hindsight that Bissell & Samsung had a partnership or Bissell was just using Samsung's OEM designs for many years as quite a few Samsung uprights had the same body style and the Bissell DigiPro also seems to be just a rebadged Samsung model. Actually a lot of the models use interchangeable bags. There is a British HSN or QVC clip with a Daewoo model that looks just like a former Bissell bagless model that broke down on air. Just goes to show that the quality of that bagless design was definately not any good. I gave a newer bagged Bissell model to a friend and also to a tenant to demonstrate how much better bagged vacuum cleaners are compared to bagless. I could not even get the turbo tools to spin when extending the hoses for any significant time or cleaning challenges. Given these models shortcomimgs they are still better than almost any bagless cleaner except for the dyson Ball 3 which has finally brought dyson and bagless vacuum cleaners on par with bagged vacuum cleaners.

My favorite Bissell
Cool bissell powerforce bagged black those are my favorite
I wish Walmart sells those vacuums again. Black, blue, red, dark red, orange and purple.
Grayson had you ever had a bissell microlock 7 stages upright vacuum cleaner from late 90s
I have one of those, although I may get rid rid of it because I wasn't satisfied with the condition that it was in for the price I paid for.

I love this sweeper looking for another one
Yup August 2004
Did you grow up with the older bissell soft bagged upright vacuum cleaner
Bissell
Got one too
I have a similar model, it's not great but it isn't the worst thing ever. At least these are easy to take apart, unlike Dysons or Sharks.
These are definitely more simplistic than even the Hoover Windtunnels at the time.
