This is great (as are all the videos in this series) - I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking it would be great to see a couple of videos explaining how you put these patches together - you get a lot out of a very compact rack!

Man...how did you bring yourself to purchase those exact modules. You pull so much out of so little. Well done.

few modules + huge knowledge = awsome :)
Does the Doepfer A 190 - 3 receive Midi to generate the Gate/Clock or whats his job?
Would be great if you could explain the purpose :) i´m pretty new to modular sorry

Hey Tom! The A 190 - 3 is receiving a simple clock from ableton. It doesn't really make sense because Marbles has a built in clock, but you can control the exact bpm with an external one.

I guess you have to think about what kind of music / style you want to set up. There's tons of modules out there and I spent quiete some time thinking about how to get a nice compact system. Maybe start with defining if you want to have a more "musical" system or something more experimental. Then you could buy a small case (like I did) and do some research which modules fit your needs.

Sounds gorgeous. So Marbles is the only sequencer here? Impressive!

Thanks! You're right, just marbles - no other sequencer involved!
