    Great video! I never considered Long Beach airport. I fly into John Wayne (SNA), take an Uber ($120 round trip including tips), to Candy Cane Inn (~$300/night). They are newly fully renovated, a 7 minute walk but also have their own shuttle, free parking, free breakfast, beautiful pool area with kiddie wading pool and hot tub, and wonderful staff! I won’t stay anywhere else anymore. Also important with Getaway Today and Undercover Tourist discount tickets is that you can get a REFUND. Disney does not issue refunds unless someone literally dies (this actually happened to us and was an enormous several month hassle 😢).

      That’s i good point about the refunds! And I’ve been curious what the Candy cane inn renovation was going to look like. It’s good to know it was a good one. Thanks for your tips. ✌️

      @@howtodisneyland Candy Cane Inn is beautiful and the beds are sooo comfy! Also, if you reserve a Premium room, it has a microwave and they’ll deliver breakfast to you! Plus chocolates at night and a welcome basket with popcorn and snacks! Although the standard rooms don’t include this, it was still a wonderful stay ❤️

      That’s very good to know.

    Great tips, thank you so much. We are WDW AP and have never been to DL so, your video was an amazing help. Please keep the great content coming.

      Thank you so much for such a kind comment. And yes WDW is truly an entirely different world from Disneyland. I hope you have a great day✌️

      @@howtodisneylandyou are very welcome. Are you going to be doing a video on the OBB after hours event, by chance?

      I’ve done two already. One goes over everything you could expect and the other shows you how to plan out your night with the time you have.

    This is the most informative video I’ve come across for Disneyland. This is my first ever trip to California and I am so grateful I found your channel. Thank you so so much

    Hi how far is the parking from Toy Story from hotel Best Western Plus Raffles inn & suites? Im seeing that hotel is close to the enterence, so which enterence is faster and better?

    • @howtodisneyland
      @howtodisneyland  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It most definitely would be shorter to walk to the Toy Story shuttles. You can walk to the park from there but it can feel pretty long at the end of the day.

    Is four days enough to do both parks? We may visit California in 2025 and want to do Disneyland and the San Diego Zoo.

    • @howtodisneyland
      @howtodisneyland  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep that should be plenty in my opinion.

    Has anyone used working advantage? Not sure if that's the site you mentioned your husband companys offer

    • @howtodisneyland
      @howtodisneyland  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The website we use specific to his company. I know many companies have similar type programs and websites. But I haven’t used working advantage myself. I always compare their deals with getaway today. They kind of go back and forth with who has the better deal.

      If it were me and my daughter that age I would do Disneyland for sure. I have a Disneyland vs California Adventure video you may want to watch that one it might help you make your decision. I hope you have a magical time there😊

    Our trip is in 2 weeks (╥﹏╥) so stressed bc usually its just me, older brother and little sister who is a teen. This time we are going with all our younger siblings (4 younger ones) and my aunt and her kids. Mind you they are some pretty naughty rez kids so I am just worried about the trip

    Buying tickets LAST thing you do LMAO You need to shift those dates for unexpected ride closures for one. Slow days will never sell out. Days busy enough to sell out are the worst -- don't go. Restaurants book 1-2 weeks in advance. Not insane in advance like Florida.

    • @howtodisneyland
      @howtodisneyland  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      The dates I was selecting on the screen were random and not meant as a literal suggestion for booking. I assume most people have a general idea of what dates they’re going since most people traveling to Disneyland make decisions based on available time off at work and school as well as budget available. That was visual for people to see what the process looks like.
      And yes you can usually get some kind of a dining reservation 1-2 weeks out but not at the popular places like the blue bayou, lamplight, Carthay etc. and why put off making the reservation if you can make it as early as 60 days and get your pick of restaurant and times.
      The truth is most people don’t have the luxury of basing their trip off of slow days which are fewer and further in between and harder to predict these days. And considering unexpected ride closers tend to be well… unexpected and impossible to plan around for people planning ahead of time.✌️

    Okay, this is kind of random 😂 but where did you get those green pants you’re wearing in the picture with Chip and Dale? They look super comfy!
