Her break is very low, she's obviously scared to risk staying in chest higher up (it happens once by accident and she immediately pulls back) and she never takes the risk to not sound pretty. And I honestly think that's absolutely paramount for this scene to work - let "uglier" vocal colors show.
Agree, not every character should be played the same way by every person. Marin's is different from Patricia's and her's different from Kelli's. They're all different vocally as well as emotionally and they are all valid. @@rugby8-Philadelphia
