I used to worry that if I passed away my husband wouldn't know how to take care of our 1/2 acre yard and 123 year old house and all its quirks. After I told him that he replied, "oh if you're gone, we're selling the house and moving into a condo!" That actually made me feel much better 😂
That means he wants to do that now but probably feels forced to take care of this property just.for you. Because he obviously has no interest in it if he wouldn't know how to do it without you. How weird of you to be so selfish\clueless.
@@ruz7951 What it means is that we have a partnership where we each contribute using our different skill sets. My husband and I excel in different areas. We don’t have tax on food in MA either but we have like zero Walmarts. So many videos to budget food everyone shops at Walmart. Closest one to me is about 40minutes away
Thanks for making mistakes and showing them. I am not a great cook, but I am learning and we are saving so much money and my husband is a fabulous home cook so he helps a lot! I love your recipes and all the ideas for substitutions as sometimes I forget things even when I make a list for this week's meal plans.
I was in Walmart just a few short days ago. I bought the wrong food. Wish I'd seen this first. This looks very good--and a lot cheaper. Thank you for these videos.
I do my best shopping when money is really tight. I need to apply that every week not just the tight weeks but your ideas really pay off for me on those tight weeks.
I really love how positive and kind you are. I love really like getting meal ideas from your videos. You can definitely see the love of Christ in you. ❤. Keep it up.

You are a marvel. Your tips and sharing your knowledge have been extremely helpful for myself and countless others, I have no doubt. Sending you and yours much love and light 💛
Mindy, you should look up "apple crumble" - very popular in UK, but in other parts of Europe too. It's basically the apples that you did, except you put them in a baking tray (without much sugar) and top with a sand-like mixture of sugar, flour and butter. This caramelizes on top of the apples during the baking process and gives the apples a sweet crunch. It goes amazing with ice cream or just cream or custard poured over on top as well! Your family should try that!
So thankful for you! Family of 5 on one income, with toddlers with crazy food allergies. I get so much inspiration from your meals, even when I have to modify some to stay allergy safe. I tell all my mom friends about your channel!
Im a terrible cook and don't really enjoy it. I made the sausage meal tonight and it was so easy, cost effective and yummy!! Me and my family thanks you so much ❤
I like them, too! I actually hadn’t heard of Rada until they reached out to me a few years back about a sponsorship. Now I buy stuff from them every year for myself or for family members at Christmas.
I would love to see a whole video on how to use frozen vegetables, especially the ones that steam in the bag. I want them to be seasoned and flavorful…
Great recipes! And…when you do occasionally have a “mess up”, which is not often at all, you show us ways to correct things or adjust the recipes to save the meals! We all need to know that! Your channel is an inspirational to many!!
I made all 3 of these dishes this week! I didn't have enough chicken for the last dish, so I used leftover sweet Italian sausage. I'm sure it'll be fine 😅 Loved this video, and looking forward to more like it!
good stuff Mindy, thanks for another great video! I can't help but wonder if these dinners wouldn't be a better value if the budget was considered in the context of the rest of the week; e.g. if i was actually doing this, I wouldn't buy a 1lb bag of carrots, I'd go to Aldi where I can get a 2lb bag for $1.50, then my other lb of carrots can get eaten for lunches. and I can also get those apples cheaper in a sack and the extra apples are tasty for snacks, breakfast etc.
I cooked your crockpot potato and sausage soup/stew the other day. It was in a recent video. I adjusted it slightly as I don’t live in America and didn’t have the same kind of sausage. I used a polish smoked sausage . It turned out lovely. Thanks for the recipes.

I love Gala apples, but not for cooking. I remember the first time I cooked with them and noticed that they give off what I find to be a weird perfume when they're warm.
I got two $10 steak meals at Price Chopper in MO and cute football brownies- with tax it was over $27. I had $25 in cash. :/ Darn seasonal Little Debbie tax !!
