Praying everything goes smoothly 😊 I personally prefer renting bc I do like to move around and you don’t have to stress if something breaks.
I bought a house in 2022 and with how crazy the world is my husband and I discussed selling everything and going to live in Honduras, for a bit. I still have family there and it just seems like we live to work here (USA). I’m taking it one day at a time, for the time being we are here and will see what God has planned

It’s like you’re at this major crossroads in life, selling your house getting some freedom back! Adventure awaits. I feel your pain with the unknown and wish you the best finding your place.
Tony, you grew so much while at this house. I'm so proud of you. I'm glad you can also be proud of yourself for staying put for 6 years and giving yourself that time to rest and figure things out. That being said- it's okay to leave. You know when you're ready! I wanted to tell you something I've done. (as some one who also enjoys change of scenery) You could always put the things you want to keep in storage or at your family's house, sell/donate the rest and travel for a while. Chose different cities every month or so and see what resonates with you, and maybe move to one permanently after visiting. I've found nice airbnb's for like $1500 a month bc they discount for monthly stays. And I brought my pets :) These hard feelings will not last, and if your family needs you, just hop on a flight home.
You should rent a nice apt in a higher end building that has a pool & common rooms etc. That way you can even meet people if you choose. And usually you only pay one price vs renting a home with utilities etc

my condo is nearly paid off and the payment is very low so I don't move. i save and invest all the extra so i can purchase another property in cash closer to my retirement. I went through a midlife crisis that lasted most of my 40s but since I have a plan now I feel less anxiety. You are still young and so moving and taking more chances is something i would choose also.
I agree that home ownership isn’t all that it’s hyped up to be. As someone who lives pay check to pay check, I can’t afford property taxes or the costs associated with owning a home. I like renting. (I’m in North Florida.)
I can relate to you wanting to move and get some peace of mind. I am thinking of selling my home here in Florida and maybe moving up north again.
I too feel like I am stuck. I agree with you -- let it go to someone who would be happier here . There is so much to consider though isn't there.. and worry about. But in the end we must be happy.. even if we feel a bit silly for thinking about giving up a decent home that we have. I also feel like my current existence is not enough or good enough for me on top of being stuck in a constant rut. Which is making it worse for me mentally. I just feel too like I have to release things here and move on to new experiences. What to do though, I am unsure constantly ... And like you I need to try to be good inside.. I need to try to let all my pain go too.. none of this is easy.. it's time for change . God will help us. Pray for divine guidance like I do. Thank you for inspiring me and giving me some hope and encouragement Tony. God bless.
We are in the same boat right now in life! I am just trusting Jesus to keep us a float! Houses sold, new jobs achieved! We are so Blessed and it will work out for the both of us! And everyone else moving and selling and changing in life! 🙏🙏🙏 God Bless!

Don’t you live in Florida Tony. You should go to one of the little communities that sell or rent the cute little Trailor homes.. I’ve watched so many videos of them. They are not that expensive and really cute! Hope everything works out for you!

Just be careful renting wise. In the end your paying for the rent of the property but also someone else mortgage on their house. Renting should be a temporary thing because we need assets for retirement.
Unless you already have a boat load of money
