I just want to put in this piece of information that the older geocentric model (often called Ptolemy's model), though seems against observation and heliocentric model (Copernicus model) now dominates, it is very interesting to know that Ptolemy's model can still be used to make precise predictions of the position of the Sun, Moon, and inner planets of solar system as seen on the Earth sky.
My simple question(s) 1. Our generation is the last to believe without questioning. May Allah protect our Iman. In this age of technological revolution, where our children will be exposed to plethora of Scientific theories We cannot tell them to discount them all. A connection HAS to be made between QURAN and the evolving theories. Such as dimensions and the concept of time. 2. Quran has been revealed from the Highest Dimension to our third dimension. Its words are not mere words. They have a meaning can be true in multiple meanings. 3. Allah him self invites the reader to look towards the skies and explore.( Exploration's first step is a theory. Einstein has died but his theory lives on and all modern exploration including the observance of the first black hole is due to that theory.) 4. Tafseer is the analysis of the Mufassir or his viewpoint based on the contemporary knowledge existing at that time( Except for the Tafaseer of Sahaba of which we discount Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas because we cannot understand him Even though he explains the Quran based on our times. WE need a tafseer for 21st Century. 5. Ali bhai How can i Contact you.
Holy Quran 2.269---He gives WISDOM to whom He wills, and whoever has been given WISDOM has certainly been given Much GOOD. And none will remember except those of understanding.

Dr Zakir Naik has answered this dilemma very nicely when 1 questioner said scientific miracles in QURAN are in other texts too before ISLAM to which Dr Zakir Naik replied by saying indeed they were there but QURAN speaks of scientific miracles which are ALL true and that's why ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TAALA challenges anyone to show any contradiction in QURAN while those texts Sumerian, biblical texts etc had MANY scientific things which are proven WRONG today ,this is the difference between QURAN n other texts

There are two types of views in QURAN - one is aqeedah whose interpretation can't be changed and other one is open for interpretation based on which time we are living e.g ayah about preservation of Pharoah of prophet musa AS which was discovered in 19th century so before 19th century this ayah couldn't have been interpreted,that's why ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TAALA says in QURAN a believer Believes in all ayahs clear or unclear and in whose heart is deviancy goes for unclear verses n falls into fitan
