Pay attention when I hit on the camera record button and tried to add the bet. I was doing short video so was recording separately. It's very obvious what I was doing, i was recording with two camera, one for this video and one for full session

Just reading comments and people are simply blaming NG. However NG said $1200 bet while he was talking to the camera/phone so that we can watch. He was putting the chips on the not even looking his main focus was camera. It is clearly dealers fault.

Coming from a dealer who works in a casino, DEALERS fault. She didn't close bets most importantly and the man just said he was going to do a $1000...being that the dealer heard this, or she should have if she was paying attention, she should have waited for him, even if he says let's go or not...the man was going for his phone to start filming and she deals a card. No good on her part. Unfortunate he lost out on more money, win or not.
Clearly the dealers fault, if she’s paying attention at all. You clearly said you’re gonna double up & bet more. Just because your money is in the circle, the dealer should know how to deal accordingly to the player. Especially a HL dealer. But the dealers have been terrible in Vegas now. While I see and understand your point of view , I just think the dealers are so used to movement and when they saw you pull back to start recording after you announced the bet they must’ve take the “ let’s go” as you were ready and that was your bet. So I’d say it was more of a misunderstanding rather than a yours or their fault . Keep up the great content sir !

No one is at fault. The fact he pulled his winnings back and say let’s go would indicate to the dealer let the round begin. However as a courtesy, the dealer could have waited and confirm before moving forward. It’s not like anyone else is gaming on the table. More than likely, it’s a private table I assumed with the cameras rolling.

If you look at the video, NG's hand was placing the bet just BEFORE the dealer showed the card. NG should have been able to place his intended bet. He's obviously the only player at the table and the dealer should have been certain that he was ready. If I ran this casino and someone who plays as much as NG was at a table, I would only have the best dealer around. The bad PR for the casino impacts them more than the difference in the bet in the hand.

I never play blackjack, but it's my understanding is that you don't announce what you're betting to the dealer, you do it with your chips. I get that you were telling the viewers what your bet was going to be, but the dealer doesn't care about that. The chips you already had there indicated what your bet was. You can't decide to change it after a card is dealt.

I think there was no fault, just miscommunication. It appears that you wanted to record the action of placing the money down, when you said let's go you were talking to the person recording, then you went to start the camera near to you. However the dealer did not know your intentions of capturing the action on your camera, therefore when she heard Let's go she proceeded... So no fault on anyone, rather NG's communicating was not clear.
