I’m a pilot and trust me, it’s not all fun and games. It’s definitely fun at times, but there is a lot of work and stress involved. Sometimes the scenery is nice and other times, a real bad storm sneaks up on you and you have to fly and land with 10 ft of visibility. While these planes are equity to handle harsh weather, that doesn’t make it any easier.

You can also appreciate the soldiers on the ground, they are the ones that did most of the sacrifices.
On the other hand the level of dedication y way of study and preparation and maintenance and growth to be a fighter pilot might make their sacrifice bigger than a regular soldier though many more of them have died. Comparison is not an easy matter.

You can't just be a fighter pilot, they have to be the best at what they do, they have to operate perfectly

Videos like this were the reason why I wanted to become a Jet pilot.. . now I am halfway through ENJJPT and I can promise everyone here, that the video only shows the best 0,000001% of Jet flying. Most of the time is spent for losing his mind over dozens of 20+ page checklist you'll have to memorize word by word, while concetrating on 3 mission profiles wishing the day had at least 35 hours so you can get your 8 hours of sleep. there is few to be jealous about... really...

Both of my kids are serving our country in the Marine Corps, and I'm so proud of them. I have always had great respect and honor for all who served. It raised my son's to show honor, respect and appreciation for what those that came before us had sacrificed for our country.
When each one told me they made the choice to serve, I was very happy. My oldest son went the day after 9/11, signed, and was on a bus headed to Parris Island September 24th. When my youngest son was old enough to be eligible to go to boot camp, he told me that he will be heading ouot to Parris Island also, yo earn the title of being a United States Marine. It was so wonderful. Proud Mom of both of them. I was a Single mom, we lived in poverty by choice, and as my eldest son said at the age of 4 that it was more important to have me home than the things money could buy. I never went back to work. Only an hour of their awake time I was not home, which was kissing them good night after I read them a story. I am so proud and fortunate to be their mom.
I am just 12 years old but when I will grow up I will become a fighter pilot...
