the song supposed to be goofy and campy and a huge part of english versions are capturing the actual vibe of the song, and this really doesnt imo. the lyrics also kinda feel like they are a direct translation and the fact that they arent kinda is weird to me. sorry if this sounds harsh. the vocals are really good!! just i think the lyrics need a bit more work. they almost feel like the first thing written down, which isnt always a bad thing but this just kinda feels like it is a draft if that makes sense? good job tho! i know it takes AGES to write anything, let alone have the balls to post it on the internet for assholes like me to shit on you for having fun. seriously, tho great job! dont stop writing!

in my opinion a cover, whether it's an english version or not, is meant to be the cover artists own interpretation of the song. the way i interpreted it, the message of having confidence in yourself comes off stronger than the campiness, so thats what i focused on with my lyrics. the intentionally goofy lines detract from that for me because they're not things that make me feel confident when singing them, despite the fact that i understand and respect the original intentions with them and (g)i-dle's boldness to go that route
i valued being true to my own comfort and style over being true to the original song, while still trying to keep a balance of both. that's what covering is to me

I wasn't trying to say that covers arent the cover artists interpretation. some of my favorite covers change the songs they sing completely! but from my perspective and interpretation of the song, its supposed to be a raunchy, campy, song that breaks the stereotypes of women being meek and prude. its similar in vibes to 'im so hot' by chrissy chlapecka. its bimbo barbie core and supposed to almost make people uncomfortable if that makes sense.
That being said, your comfort obviously tops all of that and the song is at its route is confidence and your interpretation is 100% valid. camp isnt for everyone and thats okay! what you did with the song is still amazing!

0:30 I feel like shuhua’s verse should be “Oh all the ladies around the world just want to copy my style” but I like yours aswell
0:38 Dine on a birthday cake sounds kinda weird so I would change it to “I’ll party and eat only birthday cake” it also stills conveys the message of the song as you should love yourself the way you are and eat what you want
1:00 I would change I’m taking on the runway to “I’m royal in my own way” (I saw this lyric somewhere on another video but idk who it was)
1:40 I feel like “I’ll party and toast with SOME blue champagne” would make some more sense
Also at 0:42 and 1:43 I thought of maybe changing it to “My life is a reason to celebrate” but yours makes more sense story-wise
