Taylor Sheridan is brilliant at doing these shows just wish he would stop with so many spinoffs and actually make FULL SEASONS of the ones he has instead of short shifted seasons.
I don't care about four 6's. Why could we not just expand on the "King" of all the shows - YELLOWSTONE? How many years did Bonanza run for successfully??? There was no Taylor Sheridan greed going on with that show. I blame all of this on Sheridan....he is brilliant...but GREED just killed that cat! The Roman Empire fell and the Taylor Empire is about to fall as well. Greed and Decadence will get you every time. I won't want any of his shows but YELLOWSTONE. So far, I have been very impressed with Sheridan’s work. The level of detail that he pursues including running cowboy camp to deliver authenticity is what makes it good. I just hope that Matthew Mac doesn’t phone it in (or worse…overact).
I love that they’re creating more content around Yellowstone but we all would just prefer more Yellowstone than these spin-offs. I’m sure Sheridan will make them good but it definitely won’t have the chemistry and retention that Yellowstone had.
We'll see. Yellowstone could've ended a few times and Sheridan is great at pulling out the most unlikely hero at the last moment. I think Kayce will take over and that'll be that for Montana. I think about reading Lonesome Dove and there is this sort of mystical connection between parts of Texas and Montana as once truly free territories that connects them even to this day. Instead of John Lennon singing about imagining things, imagine the real world with no taxes and no government to tell right from wrong. The American Old West is about fleeing the trap of things as they are, Sheridan highlights it perfectly. Watch Tulsa King.

If you ever had even a very limited experience being around horses and cattle one cannot help but love Yellowstone. The smell of cow shit and horse sweat , the dust , and the shit on your boots stays in your memory forever.
Yellowstone embodied the cowboy culture pretty well but you don’t get any closer to the real thing then the sixes and Sheridan knows this. Show has high expectations to fill big shoes, based on Sheridans story telling I think he’ll do just fine to represent and depict the Texas culture. An aspect of Americana we all hone to whether we know it or not

The series will and has continued to grow in popularity, dont let the plastic mobsters try to get in on the action. Keep the Dicaprios and other Hollywood mafia away from this grounded group of actors who are representing a particular Texan style. What makes the show is the story being presented from grounded authentic actors, backed by Mr Sheridan.
Kevin Costner makes the show, I can’t see all the other actors from Yellowstone moving to 6666 without him. He is a GREAT actor with a true love for the west. It would disrupt the flow of the film. I hope he is not replaced, Matthew Mc. Could never come close to what Kevin Costner brings to the set.

Reports are out that the final episodes of Yellowstone won’t be coming out until November 2023. I personally don’t think it will be coming out at all, since they haven’t even started filming the final 6 episodes yet and their going to start filming parts 2 & 3 of his new movie saga “Horizons: An American Saga” in May 2023. So I don’t know when he’ll have time to film the final episodes of Yellowstone, I think it’s just going to end up ending on a cliff hanger with episode 8. It’s a shame that Costner cared more about his new movie project, then finishing the show that rejuvenated his career.
I agree on the not having any more episodes at all since there’s been a few dates for the part 2 of season 5 and it’s even further pushed off again. As for Costner it’s a two way street and Sheridan playing his god complex way to much and way to far as well
Definitely want to see Lloyd continue on to the sixes. Sheridan has brought along so many nuances of our way of life. It is a shame how decades of politics and land use have threatened it. Thank God for Texans.

Yellowstone is the first show in a long time that got me hooked. 5 seasons is a good length for a show. And I’m sure Sheridan will let it end gracefully and not disappoint the fans.

Seems like a lot of Jimmy hate on here. For me Yellowstone from the first episode has been a story of redemption and growth and Jimmy's story exemplifies those traits. The whole Beth vs. Jamie thing is starting to feel like a bad plot on Dallas or Falcon Crest.
I would watch this. It was Jimmy's growth as a cowboy at the 6's ranch that's made miss the days I spent growing up learning to ride and break horses in Kansas. For fun on the weekends we would ride bulls at a local Saturday night weekly bull riding arena.
I'll be honest; for whatever reason when I think of the west or the cinematography I don't think of Texas 😅I think of the mountains and the beauty therein. I don't know how Sheridan will beat the stunning shots of Colorado, Utah or Montana. (Obviously California, Washington Oregon, Idaho , Wyoming all have parts of that same beauty) That is not to say that they won't shoot beautiful parts of Texas. I've just always thought of it as part of the south. I'm sure the show will be interesting and looking forward to learning more about the region 😀
I live in Tx and I agree...but Taylors a Texan and hires a lotta Texans and hes got several ranches and horse facilities....why you can even catch him randomly having breakfast at Marys Brazos cafe on little old TinTop Road in Weatherford Texas cause he lives down the road...lol

A big part of Yellowstone to me is the beautiful scenery. From what I’ve seen of 6666 ranch, there are rocks, dust, high temps and it’s filled with cacti. I will give new 6666 a chance but will greatly miss the beauty of Yellowstone. I hope they keep the cast together. Good actors all. I really like Matthew McConaughey but surely will miss Kevin Costner in the role of John Dutton.
If Harrison Ford can be applauded for doing Indy again for one 2-hour movie that takes 3 months to shoot before he retires from action/active films, imagine what Costner has been through for years already for days, weeks, and months. I really want to see Kevin Costner continue and most of the Yellowstone cast. I lived in Austin and loved seeing the fuming of Yellowstone in Montana and the American Indian influence in the series. I hope yhat continues in the 6666 series.
Kevin is out - hence the reason of the ending of Yellowstone . He has a project of his own which he directs - stars in called Horizon . Which will go into production very soon .

And, Kevin told it from the start we just wouldn't want to hear it because seeing him every week was a treat!
I noticed the this did not mention Casey and Monica, and some of the other cast members we are use to seeing that made the show great as it was. I really hate seeing the Yellowstone series end especially without Kevin Costner being a part of it. He really fit right in this series making it one of the best shows on TV. I was excited every week waiting on this series to come on because it was so good and you knew there was always going to be something new and exciting to look forward to. This series was one of the best TV series to ever be made. It was pleasantly nice to get to watch something on TV for a change that was so enjoyable and exciting to look forward to each week. I will miss it a lot. I only hope the new series 6666 will be equally great and enjoyable. I feel them losing Kevin Costner will be a great loss to the show but I understand he is ready to move on . Like most other series that have a successful run, it appears this one is also headed down the path of becoming weaker in plot and characters to the point it will also fade away. There are already new storylines focused on weaker characters that create less interest in watching the show.

Seems like a lot of Jimmy hate on here. For me Yellowstone from the first episode has been a story of redemption and growth and Jimmy's story exemplifies those traits. The whole Beth vs. Jamie thing is starting to feel like a bad plot on Dallas or Falcon Crest.

I would watch this. It was Jimmy's growth as a cowboy at the 6's ranch that's made miss the days I spent growing up learning to ride and break horses in Kansas. For fun on the weekends we would ride bulls at a local Saturday night weekly bull riding arena.
Love all things Sheridan. Especially him! Would love to see Casey back too!!!

I'll be honest; for whatever reason when I think of the west or the cinematography I don't think of Texas 😅I think of the mountains and the beauty therein. I don't know how Sheridan will beat the stunning shots of Colorado, Utah or Montana. (Obviously California, Washington Oregon, Idaho , Wyoming all have parts of that same beauty) That is not to say that they won't shoot beautiful parts of Texas. I've just always thought of it as part of the south. I'm sure the show will be interesting and looking forward to learning more about the region 😀
I live in Tx and I agree...but Taylors a Texan and hires a lotta Texans and hes got several ranches and horse facilities....why you can even catch him randomly having breakfast at Marys Brazos cafe on little old TinTop Road in Weatherford Texas cause he lives down the road...lol

Ikr....gone are the days when they made many episodes then took a 3 month max hiatus...Sopranos started that trend and I hated it...forgot the story line

The one person I have been watching for quite some time, and I would like to see instantly and immediately he is the one image that is a Texan be on Texan. He rides a horse better than anyone I’ve seen all his thoughts has to do with bigger and better Texan and not only that he has a face that is very handsome , I haven’t heard his voice but I would like to see Taylor himself as the owner of this 666 and I think he could be if there were any Kevin Costner. 🎉
He has been hiding , it’s not like he doesn’t have much to do with it as quick as he can write it a script. I am not a lover of Jimmy, though his head and haircut a really is I really don’t care for him but for Taylor he’s the man and his name needs to come to the forefront such as kevin‘s did .

A big part of Yellowstone to me is the beautiful scenery. From what I’ve seen of 6666 ranch, there are rocks, dust, high temps and it’s filled with cacti. I will give new 6666 a chance but will greatly miss the beauty of Yellowstone. I hope they keep the cast together. Good actors all. I really like Matthew McConaughey but surely will miss Kevin Costner in the role of John Dutton.
If Harrison Ford can be applauded for doing Indy again for one 2-hour movie that takes 3 months to shoot before he retires from action/active films, imagine what Costner has been through for years already for days, weeks, and months. It's about time to end it.

Well, heat,dirt, rocks & shrubs are what Texas is! We are definitely REAL Cowboys loved by real cowgirls. My great- grandfather came to TX, lived in a dugout (hole in the ground) until he built his herd, ranch& range. Now, that's real cowboying folks! Next time you're in Megargel, Texas, think about my Pappa Young! What a man he was!
I think or like them using actors unknown to most of us. We grow to like the characters as the show evolves. Share the work and opportunities. Don’t need Stars just professional that have abilities to act and take direction.

Yes Bumped Taylor lost interest in YS and rescheduled so much that now “ Beth & John “ started their other project ! BT W they both Kelly R and Kevin said long before the Paleyfest that they could not be there so a lot of mismanagement here!

I really want to see Kevin Costner continue and most of the Yellowstone cast. I lived in Austin and loved seeing the fuming of Yellowstone in Montana and the American Indian influence in the series. I hope yhat continues in the 6666 series.
Kevin is out - hence the reason of the ending of Yellowstone . He has a project of his own which he directs - stars in called Horizon . Which will go into production very soon .
@@jankauffman4753 Blame Taylor hmmm yes and no, He wants to expand this moment of succes and that's understandeble but he should have known all the big names of Yellow Stone have projects on hold on TV or like Kevin has Horizon in the works for a long time, and Kelly has her film in the UK, the script for S5 part two wasn't ready and they are not included in the plans so yes he took a risk. And, Kevin told it from the start we just wouldn't want to hear it because seeing him every week was a treat!

I noticed the this did not mention Casey and Monica, and some of the other cast members we are use to seeing that made the show great as it was. I really hate seeing the Yellowstone series end especially without Kevin Costner being a part of it. He really fit right in this series making it one of the best shows on TV. I was excited every week waiting on this series to come on because it was so good and you knew there was always going to be something new and exciting to look forward to. This series was one of the best TV series to ever be made. It was pleasantly nice to get to watch something on TV for a change that was so enjoyable and exciting to look forward to each week. I will miss it a lot. I only hope the new series 6666 will be equally great and enjoyable. I feel them losing Kevin Costner will be a great loss to the show but I understand he is ready to move on . Only hope Matthew McConaughey will do a equally great job too.
Don't take too much stock in this video. Kayce and Monica should inherit the ranch and building off of 1883 give it back to the tribe perhaps.
Matthew is not the actor to put in this western and he can not replace any of the yellowstone actors 😢

@@billiegutierrez2506 I don't think that's it. Everyone has said he just wants to be there fir his young children. He's not a spring chicken and apparently he was clear in that from the beginning. They never thought it would take off like it did. Costner has always seemed to be a pretty good guy but who knows.
I personally won't miss hearing Costner try to butch up with that annoying fake gravel voice.
They need to include Cowboy Kent Rollins as a cook in the series.

Unfortunately Yellowstone was neglected by Sheridan when he started messing around with all the various (too many) spin-offs. What’s really sad is it’s caused Yellowstone to have two back to back weak seasons, and now it’ll go out that way. It should have gone out when it was on top.

Yellowstone shouldn't have had to go out at all, if Sheridan didn't dillute it all down with 15 spinoffs he could've concentrated on the original, which he should've done. Dumb move looking for $$$ signs....and that in turn created other issues. Yellowstone could have had a longer run with the cast that we've come to love, but nope, couldn't do that. Now Costner and others will be gone, to be replaced with the likes of " killer" Joe. Really?? Lmao! Have fun with your spinoffs, I'm out after the end of Yellowstone.

The Montana Rockies played a major part in the spirit of Yellowstone. Hot, flat, dusty Texas pales in comparison imo.

Like most other series that have a successful run, it appears this one is also headed down the path of becoming weaker in plot and characters to the point it will also fade away. There are already new storylines focused on weaker characters that create less interest in watching the show.
Exactly the reason Sheridan ended it and progressed it onto his own turf. Though I do want to see Kayce and Monica pop in.
