BEST family bike ride EVER!! Hiawatha Trail Bike Ride and Review

We ride the Hiawatha Trail and give a review with recommendations. Great family day of riding! Our adventure wasn't without some challenges and we share what we learned!!! Riding on the old Transcontinental Railroad path was EPIC!!!

I did the ride. It is awesome. We camped in St Regis, Drove to trail head with bikes. I want to do it again. AWESOME ride and great people in St Regis. We took lunch, Pastrami and swiss sandwiches, And 3 beers for the finish. Each of of us finished the ride, had lunch and a beer at the end. Great ride

Great video! I worried a little when you said, "You have to ride backwards through that tunnel"! But I figured you didn't mean that literally. Looks like a lot of fun, even if you're tired.🙂

Seems like the easiest thing to do is bike back up to the start. That's a gentle grade. Couldn't be that hard if you're in any shape at all.

Well it's quite a long ride... and it's not very steep. A few hard-core bikers definitely were riding uphill... but pretty much out of the question with little ones....

A lot bigger than the mines that we used to go through. Where we had to crawl on our hands and knees to get through some of the spots. Awesome. Do you have to ride your bicycle both directions on this trail or is it a One direction

Do it this summer! You won't regret it! Just the history of the railroad alone is fascinating and the engineering it took to build that route without the modern day equipment we have today! But definitely be ready for the frigid air in those tunnels!!!
